إن الله عز وجل شرف هذه الأمة بإنزال القرآن إليها، وخصها بهذا الفضل دون سائر الأمم، وحفظه من التحريف، وسخر له من السلف الصالح من دأب على العناية به وتفسيره، وقرروا من خلاله عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة. وإن من أعظم وأجل ما فسر به؛ تفسير القرآن بالقرآن بل أن من جليل مباحث العقيدة المحتفى بها عند أهل السنة والجماعة ومن سار على نهجهم من السلف الصالح؛ مسائل الإيمان، وصنفوا فيها المصنفات، وأول ما قارعوا بها مخالفيهم. ولكن هناك من حاد عن جادة السلف، وانحرف وضل كالفرق الكلامية، بل إنهم قرروا عقائدهم الفاسدة مستندين إلى تفسير القرآن بالقرآن بمناهجهم الباطلة، وصرف الآيات عن معانيها الصحيحة، وتحريف الكلم عن مواضعه ولبيان الخلل الذي وقعت فيه الفرق الكلامية في تفسير القرآن بالقرآن في مسائلة مرتكب الكبيرة.
Allah the Almighty has honored this nation by sending down the Quran to it, and has singled it out for this favor over all other nations, and has preserved it from distortion, and has provided for it from the righteous predecessors those who were diligent in caring for it and interpreting it, and through it they established the creed of the people of the Sunnah and the Community. One of the greatest and most important ways in which it was interpreted is interpreting the Quran with the Quran. Indeed, one of the great topics of creed celebrated by the people of the Sunnah and the Community and those who followed their approach from the righteous predecessors are the issues of faith, and they have classified books on them, and the first thing they used to confront their opponents was their opponents. However, there are those who have deviated from the path of the predecessors, and have gone astray, such as the theological sects. Indeed, they established their corrupt beliefs based on interpreting the Quran with the Quran, with their false methods, and diverting the verses from their correct meanings, and distorting the words from their places. To clarify the error that the theological sects fell into in interpreting the Quran with the Quran in the question of the one who commits a major sin.
