المستخلص: تعتبر المعلومات هي العمود الفقري لأي منظمة، وركنا رئيسيا لأي منظمة، فهي تشكل الأساس الذي تبنى عليه جميع قراراتها وخططها ومشروعاتها. وفي عالم الأعمال اليوم، حيث تتزايد التحديات وتتسارع وتيرة التغييرات، أصبح دور المعلومات في تحسين جودة عملية صنع القرارات أكثر أهمية من أي وقت مضى. فمن خلال توفير البيانات الدقيقة والتحليلات الشاملة تساعد المعلومات صانعي القرارات على فهم الوضع الحالي للمنظمة، وتوقع التغيرات المستقبلية، واتخاذ قرارات أكثر استنارة وأكثر جودة والبحث الحالي يهدف إلى إلقاء الضوء علي دور المعلومات في تحسين جودة عملية صنع القرارات في المنظمات. ولقد تكون البحث من ثلاثة أجزاء هي كالتالي: الجزء الأول بعنوان المعلومات، وتم الحديث فيه عن تعريف المعلومات، وأهمية تصنيفها في المنظمات، وأنواعها، والخصائص الرئيسية للمعلومات الجيدة أو ذات جودة. الجزء الثاني: بعنوان جودة عملية صنع القرارات، وفيه تم تعريف مصطلح كل من: الجودة والقرار، وتحديد بعض أنواع القرارات، وعرض لأهمية اتخاذ القرارات الجيدة أو ذات جودة، وما هي عملية صنع القرارات وخطواتها في المنظمات وتحديد بعض معايير تقييم البدائل أو الخيارات أو الحلول، وتوضيح عناصر عملية صنع القرارات في المنظمات والعوامل المؤثرة على هذه العملية، وجودة عملية صنع القرارات، والعوامل المؤثرة عليها. أيضا تم الإجابة عن السؤال التالي: كيف تؤثر ثقافة المنظمة على كيفية اتخاذ القرارات في المنظمات؟ الجزء الثالث: بعنوان دور المعلومات في تحسين جودة عملية صنع القرارات في المنظمات. وفيه تم عرض أهمية المعلومات في المنظمات، ودور وأهمية المعلومات في تحقيق جودة عملية صنع القرارات في المنظمات، ورصد التحديات التي تواجه عملية استخدام المعلومات في صنع القرارات في المنظمات، وتوضيح دور التكنولوجيا في تحسين جودة عملية استخدام المعلومات في صنع القرارات في المنظمات. وفي نهاية البحث تم تقديم خاتمة للبحث للتأكيد على النقاط الهامة به. والبحث الحالي يعتبر من نمط البحوث النظرية المكتبة الوصفية، والتي تهدف إلى شرح ووصف وتحليل موضوع البحث بشكل كيفي من خلال الاستفادة من الأدبيات المرتبطة بموضوع البحث.

Information is the backbone of any organization, and a main pillar of any organization, as it forms the basis on which all its decisions, plans and projects are built. In today's business world, where challenges are increasing and the pace of changes is accelerating, the role of information in improving the quality of the decision-making process has become more important than ever. By providing accurate data and comprehensive analysis, information helps decision-makers understand the current situation of the organization, anticipate future changes, and make more informed and better decisions. The current research aimed to shed light on the role of information in improving the quality of the decision-making process in organizations. The research consists of three parts as follows: The first part was entitled Information, and it discussed the definition of information, the importance of classifying it in organizations, its types, and the main characteristics of good or quality information. The second part: entitled quality of the decision-making process, and it defines the terms: quality and decision, and identifies some types of decisions, and presented the importance of making good or quality decisions, and what is the decision-making process? and its steps in organizations, and identifying some criteria for evaluating alternatives, options or solutions, and clarified the elements of the decision-making process in organizations, the factors affecting this process, the quality of the decision-making process, and the factors affecting it. The following question was also answered: how does the organization's culture affect how decisions are made in organizations? Part three: entitled the role of information in improving the quality of the decision-making process in organizations. In it, the importance of information in organizations was presented, the role and importance of information in achieving the quality of the decision-making process in organizations, monitored the challenges facing the process of using information in decisionmaking in organizations, and clarified the role of technology in improving the quality of the process of using information in decision-making in organizations. At the end of the research, a conclusion was presented to emphasize the important points in it. The current research is considered a type of theoretical descriptive library research, which aims to explain, describe and analyse the research topic qualitatively by benefiting from the literature related to the research topic.
