المستخلص: تعنى هذه الدراسة بتجلية باب الزوائد من كتاب فهم القرآن ومعانيه للحارث المحاسبي ت ٢٤٣ ه، وتهدف إلى عرض الزوائد التي ذكرها المحاسبي، وموازنتها بأقوال أئمة التفسير وعلماء القرآن والمعاني، وبيان أثرها في توجيه المعنى ودلالته، والكشف عن منهج المحاسبي في إيرادها، متبعة في ذلك المنهج العلمي الاستقرائي التحليلي المقارن، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى نتائج وتوصيات أهمها: أن المراد بالزوائد عند الحارث ما زاد عن أصل المعنى بغرض التوكيد، وإيراده لها في كتابه (فهم القرآن ومعانيه) تنويه بأثرها في فهم معنى الآية وتوجيه دلالتها، فلم يقصد الاستقصاء والتحرير، وبلغ عدد ما أورده في الباب خمسة من الحروف وواحدا من الأفعال، في ستة عشر موضعا من القرآن الكريم تابع شيخه أبا عبيدة معمر بن المثنى في أحد عشر موضعا، وانفرد عنه في خمسة مواضع، ووافقه المفسرون على كثير منها، والذي يدعو إلى ضرورة العناية بموضوعات علوم القرآن وأصول التفسير بـ صفة عامة ودراسة تطبيقاتها من خلال عمل المفسرين في مصنفاتهم، وتخصيص الأدوات التي يحتاجها المفسر بمزيد بحث وتحرير.

This research is concerned with examining the chapter of additions in the book of Understanding the Holy Qur'an and its Meaning by Al- Harith Al- Muhassabi (died in 243 A.H.). The research is also keen on displaying the additions stated by Al- Muhassabi and comparing them with the sayings of the Imams of interpretation as well as the scholars of the Holy Qur'an and meaning to show their influence upon directing the meaning and its significance. Moreover, the research uncovers the approach applied by Al- Muhassabi while stating those additions. The research has followed the scientific, inductive, analytical, and comparative approaches. The research has concluded with the findings and recommendations of the study. One of the most important findings of the research refers to what is meant by the additions for Al- Harith Al- Muhassabi since Al- Muhassabi considers them what exceeds the original meaning just for the sake of emphasis and their inclusion in his book (Understanding the Holy Qur'an and its Maning) is a kind of reference to their influence upon understanding the meaning of the verse and directing its significance. He did not mean investigation or editing. Al- Muhassabi inserted about five letters and a verb in the chapter within sixteen places in the Holy Qur'an following his Sheikh Aba Obaidah Muamer Bin Al- Muthana in eleven places. Al- Muhassabi has distinctly added five places and a lot of the interpreters have largely agreed with him since he called for the necessity of caring for the topics of the Qur'an sciences and fundamentals of interpretation in general and studying their applications throughout the work of the interpreters on their classifications as well as specifying the tools needed by the interpreters by means of mor research and editing.
