|a تناولت الدراسة (ظن وأخواتها) والموسومة عند التوليديين بأفعال القلوب أو (أفعال الصعود) عند كل من النحاة العرب واللسانيين التوليديين، فذهب النحاة إلى أن ظن وأخواتها) تدخل على الجملة الاسمية من المبتدأ والخبر، بينما ذهب التوليديون أن الأصل في البنية التركيبة لجملة (ظن) أن يكون مفعولها جملة، سواء أكانت جملة اسمية أم جملة فعلية، ثم حدث ما يسمى (الإصعاد). وأوضحت الدراسة مفهوم الإصعاد في تلك الأفعال. كما تناولت الأحكام المترتبة عن التغيير في تلك البنية عند كلا الطرفين من الإلغاء كما أسماه النحاة العرب أو التفكيك وهو ما أورده التوليديون تحت باب مسمى التفكيك. كذلك ناقشت الدراسة ظاهرة (الانعكاس) في هذه الأفعال، وفي غيرها من غير أفعال القلوب، والوصف التركيبي لهذه الأفعال عند ورود الضمير المنعكس، وكذلك لغيرها من غير أفعال القلوب. وأوضحت الدراسة كيف أدرك النحاة العرب ظاهرة (الانعكاس) في هذه الأفعال، لكنهم لم يضعوا مصطلحا لها. إلى أن تطرقت الدراسة لبيان أوجه التشابه والاختلاف بين النحاة والتوليديين، ومن ذلك قضية التعليق، والإعراب وموانع الإعراب.
