|a يستعرض هذا البحث دراسة مقارنة بين مفهوم السياق في الفكر العربي والفكر الغربي، مع التركيز على أهمية السياق في تفسير المعاني اللغوية. يبدأ البحث بتسليط الضوء على الأصول العربية لاستخدام السياق في مختلف العلوم، ثم ينتقل إلى مقارنة هذا الاستخدام بالنظرية السياقية في الفكر الغربي، وبالأخص نظرية جون فيرث التي تعد حجر الأساس في المدرسة اللغوية الاجتماعية من خلال تحليل النصوص في سياقاتها المختلفة، سواء اللغوية أو العاطفية أو الثقافية، يستعرض البحث كيفية تأثير السياق على تشكيل المعاني. ويخلص إلى أن العرب كانوا السباقين في اعتماد مفهوم السياق، في حين أن الغرب نجح في تطويره إلى نظرية متكاملة ذات أبعاد فلسفية ومنهجية.
|b This study presents a comparative analysis of the concept of context in both Arab and Western thought, with a focus on its significance in interpreting linguistic meanings. The research begins by highlighting the Arab origins of contextual usage across various disciplines, and then compares this with the contextual theory in Western thought, particularly the theory of John Firth, which forms the cornerstone of the sociolinguistic school. By analyzing texts within their various contexts- linguistic, emotional, and cultural- the study explores how context influences the formation of meanings. It concludes that while Arabs were pioneers in the adoption of the context concept, the West succeeded in developing it into a comprehensive theory with philosophical and methodological dimensions.
