المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى التعرف على الدوافع المجتمعية للفعل الانتحاري، والتعرف على درجة المساندة الاجتماعية التي يتلقاها المقدمين على الفعل الانتحاري، واعتمد البحث على طريقة المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة، واستخدم أداة الاستبيان، حيث كان الاستبيان إلكتروني، وتمثلت العينة في عينة عمدية بطريقة كرة الثلج، وبلغ حجم عينة البحث (۲۳۷) مفردة من مفكري، ومحاولي الانتحار بمدينة دمياط، ومدينة دمياط الجديدة. وتوصل البحث إلى أن الدوافع الاجتماعية المؤدية للفعل الانتحاري تمثلت معظمها في التعرض للإساءة والتنمر بشكل مستمر من الأسرة والأصدقاء، بينما كانت معظم الدوافع الاقتصادية المؤدية للفعل الانتحاري تمثلت في عدم القدرة على سداد الديون تجعل الفرد يفكر في الانتحار، بينما كانت معظم الدوافع النفسية المؤدية للفعل الانتحاري تمثلت في إدمان المخدرات يدفع الفرد إلى الانتحار، وبالنسبة لدور الأسرة في مساندة أعضائها المقدمين على الفعل الانتحاري تمثلت في ضرورة مساعدة الإخوة والأخوات لبعضهم البعض، واتضح أن دور الأصدقاء في مساندة أصدقائهم المقدمين على الفعل الانتحاري تمثلت معظمها في ضرورة وجود صديق يستطيع الفرد إخباره بكل شيء عنه يجعله لا يفكر في الانتحار، كما اتضح أنه اتضح أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (٠,٠٥) تعزى إلى النوع فيما يتعلق بالدوافع الاجتماعية المؤدية للفعل الانتحاري ما عدا الدوافع الاقتصادية والنفسية، كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (٠,٠٥) تعزى إلى السن، والحالة التعليمية للمبحوثين فيما يتعلق بالدوافع الاقتصادية المؤدية للفعل الانتحاري، وتبين أيضا بوجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية عند مستوى دلالة (۰,۰۱) بين مساندة الأسرة والدوافع الاجتماعية المؤدية للفعل الانتحاري، وعلى الجانب الآخر توجد علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية عند مستوى دلالة (٠,٠٥) بين مساندة الأصدقاء والدوافع النفسية المؤدية للفعل الانتحاري.

The research aimed to identify the societal motives for the suicidal act, and to identify the degree of social support received by those who commit the suicidal act. The research relied on the sample social survey method, and used the electronic questionnaire form. The sample was represented in a deliberate sample using the snowball method, and the sample size was Search (237) individuals from thinkers and suicide attempters in the city of Damietta and the city of New Damietta. The research concluded that the social motives leading to the suicidal act were mostly exposure to constant abuse and bullying from family and friends, while most of the economic motives leading to the suicidal act were the inability to repay debts that makes the individual think about suicide, while most of the psychological motives leading to the suicidal act were It was represented by drug addiction that drives the individual to commit suicide. As for the role of the family in supporting its members who commit suicide, it was represented by the necessity of brothers and sisters helping each other. It became clear that the role of friends in supporting those who attempted suicide was mostly represented by the necessity of having a friend whom the individual can tell everything about. It makes him not think about suicide, as it turned out that there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) attributed to gender with regard to the social motives leading to the suicidal act, with the exception of economic and psychological motives. There are also statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) is attributed to the age and educational status of the respondents with regard to the economic motives leading to the suicidal act. It was also shown that there is a positive correlation at the significance level (0.01) between family support and the social motives leading to the suicidal act. On the other hand, there is a positive correlation when Significance level (0.05) between the support of friends and the psychological motives leading to the suicidal act.
