تتناول هذه الورقة البحثية بالدراسة الحضانة الملكية في عهد هنري الثالث Henry III الإنجليزي بين عامي ۱۲۲٦م، و۱۲۷۲م، وعليه ستركز هذه الدراسة على بكورة سنوات أطفال هنري الثالث، وزوجته إليانور من بروفانس Eleanor of Provence، بدءا من تخصيص قلعة وندسور لتكون الحضانة الملكية لأبناء هنري الثالث، ثم توضح الدراسة مدى اهتمام ملك وملكة إنجلترا بأبنائهما، ومدى ارتباطهما الشديد بهم، كما تعرض رعاية الأطفال وتربيتهم داخل الحضانة الملكية، وكذلك التمويل الملكي للحضانة للإنفاق على متطلبات أبناء الأسرة الملكية، ولصرف رواتب القائمين على رعايتهم من موظفي الحضانة، وتوضيح أدوار هؤلاء الموظفين أيضا، كما ستعرض الدراسة حياة الأطفال داخل الحضانة الملكية وتنشأتهم الدينية، وتقديم الرعاية الصحية لهم، وللأطفال الأخرين من أبناء النبلاء، الذين تربوا وتعلموا في الحضانة الملكية أيضا بجانب أطفال هنري الثالث وإليانور.
This paper discusses the royal nursery during the reign of Henry III of England between the years 1226 AD and 1272 AD. Accordingly, this study will focus on the early years of the children of Henry III and his wife, Eleanor of Provence, starting with the allocation of Windsor Castle as the royal nursery for the children of Henry III. Then the study explains the extent to which The King and Queen of England’s interest in their children, and the extent of their strong attachment to them. It also presents the care and upbringing of children within the royal nursery, as well as the royal funding for the nursery to spend on the requirements of the children of the royal family, and to pay the salaries of those who care for them from the nursery employees, and clarify the roles of these employees as well. The study will also present the lives of Children within the royal nursery and their religious upbringing, and providing health care to them, and to other children of nobles, who were also raised and educated in the royal nursery alongside the children of Henry III and Eleanor.
