|a يعد الوعي من الموضوعات المهمة والمشكلات المعقدة في فلسفة العقل، التي حيرت الفلاسفة والعلماء على حد سواء، حتى أنه تم وُصِف الوعي باللغز الأكبر. يشكل الوعي أحد العمليات العقلية الأساسية للإنسان، كما لا نستطيع إنكار الوعي عند الحيوان، لكن بمستوى مختلف عن الإنسان. لقد تزايدت الدراسات العلمية والفلسفية المعاصرة المتعلقة بالوعي، مع بداية القرن الحادي والعشرين. الوعي تتشعب أبعاده المعرفية في مختلف فروع العلم والمعرفة: حيث يتم دراسته في علم النفس، وفي علم الأحياء، وفي علم الأعصاب، وفي مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، وفي فلسفة العقل بوجه عام (وفي الفلسفة العصبية بوجه خاص). البحث عنوانه: تفسير الوعي في الفلسفة العصبية عند بول تشيرشلاند، الذي يعد واحدا من أبرز فلاسفة العقل وأكثرهم تأثيرا بخصوص هذا الموضوع، اهتم بول تشيرشلاند بالتفسير العصبي أو الحسي للخبرات الواعية مثل: الخبرات البصرية، والتذوقية، والشمية، والتعرف على وجه الأشخاص. ثم سعى إلى الإجابة عن كثير من التساؤلات المطروحة في هذا البحث ومنها: ما الوعي؟ وما أنواعه؟ وما خصائصه؟ وهل يتفق بول تشيرشلاند مع جون سيرل في أن الوعي ظاهرة بيولوجية عصبية؟ وكيف أن الحيوانات واعية؟ وما الفرق بين الوعي عند الإنسان والوعي عند الحيوان؟. سأستخدم المنهج التحليلي النقدي والمنهج المقارن في عرض ومقارنة آراء بول تشيرشلاند والفلاسفة المعاصرين في تفسير إشكالية الوعي، وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: اتفاق بول تشيرشلاند مع جون سيرل في أن الوعي عملية بيولوجية عصبية تحدث في المخ؛ وتوصي الباحثة بأن هناك جوانب علمية أخرى للوعي، يضطلع الذكاء الاصطناعي بدراستها، لذا يجب مراعاتها عند دراسة مشكلة الوعي في فلسفة العقل المعاصرة.
|b Consciousness is one of the important topics and complex problems in the philosophy of mind. It has puzzled both scientists and philosophers, leading them to recognize it as the greatest mystery. Consciousness is one of the basic mental processes of man, just as we cannot deny consciousness in animals, but on a different level than in a human. Contemporary scientific and philosophical studies of consciousness have increased, with the beginning of the twenty-first century. Consciousness has its cognitive dimensions in various branches of science and knowledge: it is studied in psychology, biology, neuroscience, the field of artificial intelligence, and philosophy of mind in general (and neurophilosophy in particular). The research entitled explanation of consciousness in neurophilosophy by Paul Churchland, who is considered one of the most prominent and influential philosophers of the mind on this subject. Who has taken an interest in the neural explanation of conscious experiences such as visual, taste, olfactory, and face recognition? Then he tried to solve many questions raised in this research, including: What is consciousness?, What are its types? What are its characteristics? Does Paul Churchland agree with John Searle that consciousness is a neurobiological phenomenon? How are the animals conscious?, and What is the difference between human and animal consciousness? I will use a critical and comparative approach to present and compare Paul Churchland's views and contemporary philosophers to explain the problem of consciousness. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: that Paul Churchland's agreed with John Searle that consciousness is a neurobiological process that occurs in the brain. The researcher recommends that there are other scientific aspects of consciousness that are studied by artificial intelligence and must be taken into account when studying the problem of consciousness in contemporary philosophy of mind.
