تعتبر مجموعة كبيرة من مقابر الدولة الوسطى الخاصة بالحكام من أروع ما خلفه لنا هذا العصر الذي يعد أعظم عصور التاريخ المصري، ويتناول هذا البحث مشاهد ومناظر الموسيقى بمقابر بني حسن، وذلك يتم من خلال تناولنا لمناظر الرقص والموسيقى بمقابر بني حسن، حيث أن تعددت مشاهد الموسيقى والرقص والعازفين بجدران مقابر بني حسن، التي يبلغ عددها (۳۹) مقبرة، وتمدنا الكتابات في اثنتي عشرة، منها بأسماء الأشخاص الذين أقيمت المقابر من أجلهم، منها بأسماء الأشخاص الذين أقيمت المقابر من أجلهم، ومن بين بين هؤلاء ثمانية كانوا رؤساءً، واثنان منهم كانا أميرين وواحد كان ابن أمير، وآخر كان كاتبا ملكيا، وكانت طبيعة الصخر لا تلائم النقوش التي أراد الفنان المصري إظهارها على حوائط المقابر، فقام بتغطية السطح بطبقة من الجص حتى يسهل عليه الرسم والتصوير وكتابة نقوشه، وتنوعت مناظر القبور حيث أتقن الفنان في إخراج تلك الصور والنقوش مما جعلها أهم سجل لدراسة الحياة اليومية، ظهرت موضوعات جديدة لجأ إليها الفنان في الدولة الوسطى وسوف نراها بمقابر بني حسن" بالبر الشرقي بالمنيا التي تموج بمناظر العمل والرقص واللعب والرياضة، وتشتمل مقابر "بني حسن" على الأجزاء الثلاثة، وسوف نتعرف من خلال ذلك البحث على أهم مقابر بني حسن وأهم مشاهد الموسيقى والرقص التي تقام برسمها الفنان بهذه المقابر.
A large group of Middle Kingdom tombs belonging to the rulers is considered one of the most wonderful things left to us by this era, which is considered the greatest era in Egyptian history.
