المستخلص: تعكس الدراسة الحالية أهمية الدراسات المستقبلية في العلوم السياسية، وتكشف عدم اهتمام الدارسين والباحثين في مصر، والمتخصصين في العلوم السياسية، بإجراء بحوث مستقبلية للظاهرة السياسية محل الدراسة، كما تكشف نقص الاهتمام بتدريس مجال الدراسات المستقبلية كمجال بحثي، ضمن مقررات العلوم السياسية سواء للدارسين أو الباحثين بأقسام العلوم السياسية بالجامعات المصرية المختلفة. واستهدفت الدراسة تسليط الضوء على أسباب عزوف الدارسين والباحثين في العلوم السياسية عن إعداد الدراسات المستقبلية في تخصصهم، والوقوف على أسباب عدم اهتمامهم بالبحث والنظر فيما هو أبعد من الماضي والحاضر في إعداد بحوثهم العلمية. كما استهدفت البحث محاولة تقديم دراسة علمية يسترشد بها الدارسين والباحثين في مجال العلوم السياسية، كمحاولة لمساعدتهم في تحسين معرفتهم بصورة علمية سلسلة. وقد أوضحت الدراسة- من خلال إجراء عدة نقاشات أجريت مع عدد من المجموعات البؤرية لدارسي وباحثي العلوم السياسية في جامعتين حكوميتين مختلفتين- أن عزوف الدارسين والباحثين عن إعداد الدراسات المستقبلية في البحث السياسي، يرجع إلى عدم معرفتهم بطبيعة إعداد تلك الدراسات، فضلاً عن قله مهاراتهم في طرق بناء سيناريوهات ووضع الاحتمالات أو الخيارات المستقبلية بطريقة علمية صحيحة للأحداث أو الظواهر السياسية محل الدراسة. هذا وقدمت الدراسة عدداً من التوصيات التي تأمل الباحثة من الأخذ بها على أرض الواقع، والتي تضمنت مقترحات وحلول عديدة ذات صلة بمشكلة الدراسة البحثية وموضوعها، سواء كانت توصيات على المستوي القومي أو على المستوي الأكاديمي أو المستوي العملي. وتأمل الباحثة من تقديم هذه الدراسة تحفيز الدارسين والباحثين في مجال الدراسات المستقبلية في البحث السياسي، من خلال الوقوف على معرفة ماهية الدراسات المستقبلية والمفاهيم المرتبطة والمختلطة بها وأهميتها في مجال العلوم السياسية، فضلاً عن معرفة أدواتها ومناهجها، وكيفية إعداد السيناريوهات المستقبلية. في محاولة لإتاحة عناصر تساعد في تنمية المهارات اللازمة للدارس أو الباحث الذي يرغب في إعداد الدراسات المستقبلية في العلوم السياسية سواء فيما يتعلق بفرعي النظم السياسية أو العلاقات الدولية؛ فحقل الدراسات المستقبلية هو حقل بيني (يتعدى حدود التخصص العلمي الواحد).

The current study elucidates the importance of future studies in political science, and reveals the lack of interest among Egyptian scholars and researchers, and specialists in political science as well, in conducting future researches on the political phenomenon under study. It also reveals a lack of interest in teaching future studies as a research area, within political science courses, whether for students or researchers in political science departments at various Egyptian universities. The study aims to shed light on the reasons beyond the reluctance of political science scholars and researchers to prepare future studies in their specialty, and to identify their lack of interest in researching and looking beyond the past and present in preparing their scientific research. The study also aims to provide a scientific study that can guide political science scholars and researchers, and to help them improve their knowledge in a scientific and simplified manner. Through several discussions conducted with a number of focus groups of political science scholars and researchers at two different government universities, the study has demonstrated that the scholars and researchers’ reluctance to prepare future studies in political research is due to their lack of knowledge of the preparation of such studies, in addition to their lack of skills in building scenarios and developing future possibilities or options for the political events or phenomena under study in a correct scientific manner. This study provides a set of recommendations that the researcher hopes to be implemented on the ground. These recommendations include many proposals and solutions relevant to the topic and problem of the study, whether at the national, academic, or practical level. By presenting this study, the researcher hopes to motivate scholars and researchers of future studies in political research, by identifying what future studies are, the concepts associated and mixed with them, and their importance in the field of political science, in addition to acknowledging their tools and methods, and how to prepare future scenarios. The researcher also hopes this research can be a means of providing students or researchers who wish to prepare future studies in political science with the necessary elements that help them develop their skills, whether with regard to the branches of political systems or international relations, as the field of future studies is an interdisciplinary field (that goes beyond the boundaries of a single scientific specialization).
