المستخلص: حديثاً تسعي المجتمعات المتقدمة إلى تعزيز منهج الاستدامة في نواحي الحياة المختلفة ومنها العمارة والتصميم الداخلي، وقد أنشأت مصر المجلس المصري للبناء الأخضر عام ٢٠٠٩م، وهذا المجلس يستهدف وضع سياسات وقواعد قابلة للتطبيق في مجال العمارة الخضراء والمدن المستدامة. كما شهدت مراكز التسوق التجارية تطوراً كبيراً في تصاميمها الحديثة من أجل تعزيز منهج الاستدامة والعمارة الخضراء، التي يشارك في تقديمها كل من المهندس المعماري والإنشائي والمصمم الداخلي. مع كثرة المشاكل التنموية في مصر يوجد احتياج شديد إلى تطبيق فكر الاستدامة في العمارة مع كثرة مشاكل التنمية، فجاء البحث ليرصد التحديات التي تواجه المصمم الداخلي بحيزات مراكز التسوق التجارية المحلية لتحقيق مفهوم الاستدامة واستخدام الخامات الصديقة للبيئة، هدف البحث هو محاولة الوصول إلى تصميم بيئة داخلية صحية مستدامة. وأسفرت نتائج البحث أن بعض عناصر التصميم المستدام في بعض المراكز التجارية المحلية تحت الدراسة غير مكتملة؛ مثل فقر عنصر الواجهات الجاذبة للمتسوق وعدم توفر عنصر الإضاءة الطبيعية الموفرة للطاقة عبر الزجاج وذلك لقلة مساحات الزجاج المستخدمة في بعضها والاعتماد على الكتل الأسمنتية في الحوائط والواجهات، كذلك ضعف عنصر التهوية، وقلة استخدام الخامات صديقة البيئة والمتجددة وعدم تعزيز عملية إعادة التدوير، ويوصي البحث المصممين بالاعتماد على استراتيجيات التصميم المستدام في المراكز التجارية لتوفير الطاقة واستهلاك الكهرباء والتهوية والإضاءة الطبيعية والاعتماد على الطاقة المتجددة وتعزيز استخدام الخامات الطبيعية لتحقيق جودة وسلامة البيئة وأن تضع الدولة متطلبات تحقيق الاستدامة وفق جدول أعمال الفترة القادمة لتحقيق الاستدامة التي سبقتها الدول المتقدمة.

Promoting the approach to sustainability in various aspects of life, including architecture, is one of the recent trends locally and globally. Egypt established the Egyptian Council for Green Building in 2009, and it aims to develop applicable policies and rules in the field of green architecture and sustainable cities. Commercial shopping centers are of great importance , as they are witnessing a great development in their modern designs in order to promote the approach to sustainability and green architecture , which is shared by the architect, construction and interior designer. In Egypt, there is a great need to implement the idea of sustainability in architecture with many economic problems, so the research problem lies in the challenges facing the designer of the interior architecture of local commercial shopping centers in light of the development of the concept of sustainable design , and the interior designs of commercial shopping centers also lack the use of environmentally friendly materials. This research aims to evaluate the extent of application of the concepts of sustainability and the use of environmentally friendly materials in commercial shopping centers in Egypt compared to their counterparts in other countries as a key to achieving a sustainable healthy environment. From the researcher's point of view, the importance of the research lies in the fact that the results of the study will be an important reference in the absence of sufficient research studies that explain the reasons that prevent the ability of some designers to achieve sustainability in commercial centers. Results of the research revealed that the basic environmental services in some of the local commercial centers under study are incomplete, such as the poverty of the element of facades that attract the shopper and the lack of the element of natural energy-saving lighting through glass, due to the lack of glass areas used in some of them and the reliance on cement blocks in the walls and The facades, as well as the weakness of the ventilation component, the lack of use of environmentally friendly and renewable materials, and the failure to promote the recycling process because it is not well available in the market. The research recommends designers to find design solutions and rely on sustainable design strategies in commercial centers to save energy through ventilation and natural lighting and rely on renewable energy and save electricity consumption and the need to resort to natural materials to achieve the quality and safety of the environment and for the state to set requirements for achieving sustainability according to a schedule The work of the coming period to achieve sustainability preceded by the developed countries.
