المستخلص: استهدف هذا البحث التعرف على العلاقة بين الدين والأخلاق، وطبيعة هذه العلاقة من حيث الاتصال والانفصال والتساند، وواقع التنوع الديني في المجتمع المعاصر، وبيان الآثار الأخلاقية للتنوع الديني في المجتمع الإيجابية والسلبية. واعتمدت الباحثة على عدة مناهج هي: المنهج الوصفي، والمنهج التاريخي والمنهج التحليلي والمنهج الاستقرائي والمنهج الاستنباطي في بيان الآثار الأخلاقية الإيجابية والسلبية للتنوع الديني في المجتمعات المعاصرة. ومن نتائج البحث إن الدين والأخلاق مرتبطان بطرق معقدة ومتداخلة في العديد من الجوانب. ولم يتم الوصول إلى اتفاق عام بشأن ما إذا كان يمكن فصلهما تماما، والرأي في هذا السياق يختلف بين أنواع الثقافات والفلسفات والديانات حول العالم. وأن الأخلاق كمبادئ تنظم حياة الأفراد والجماعات المختلفين لا توجد بلا دين بينما الأخلاق كسلوكيات عملية يمكن لها أن توجد بلا دين. ويشكل الدين حافزا أخلاقيا يساهم في تعزيز مبادئ العدالة والمصالحة والرحمة والتسامح، والتي تعد جميعها من أساسيات التعامل وبناء الحضارات في المجتمعات المتنوعة الأديان. وتعتبر الأخلاق إحدى القواعد الأساسية لقيام الأمم والحضارات وازدهارها، وتهذب السلوك الإنساني في علاقاته المختلفة. وأن للتنوع الديني آثارا أخلاقية واضحة المعالم في تطبيقها في المجتمعات، منها آثار إيجابية تدفع المجتمعات نحو التقدم والتطور والتسامح والتعايش السلمي، ومنها آثار سلبية تقود إلى التعصب والتطرف والعنف.

This research aimed to identify the relationship between religion and morality, the nature of this relationship in terms of connection, separation, and support, and the reality of religious diversity in contemporary society, and to demonstrate the positive and negative moral effects of religious diversity in society. The researcher relied on several method: the descriptive method, the historical method, the analytical method, the inductive method, and the deductive method in explaining the positive and negative moral effects of religious diversity in contemporary societies. From the research results, religion and ethics are linked in complex and overlapping ways in many aspects. And there is no general agreement has been reached on whether they can be completely separated, and opinion in this context varies between types of cultures, philosophies and religions around the world. Morals, as principles that regulate the lives of different individuals and groups, do not exist without religion, while morals, as practical behaviors, can exist without religion. Religion constitutes a moral incentive that contributes to strengthening the principles of justice, reconciliation, mercy and tolerance, all of which are among the basics of dealing with and building civilizations and societies. Ethics is considered one of the basic rules for the establishment and prosperity of nations and civilizations, and it refines human behavior in its various relationships. Religious diversity has clear moral effects when applied in societies, including positive effects that push societies towards progress, development, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, and negative effects that lead to intolerance, extremism and violence.
