المستخلص: الدعاء من أعظم العبادات، بل هو العبادة نفسها لما فيه من الذل والافتقار الله تعالى، قال صلى الله عليه وسلم (الدعاء هو العبادة) والقرآن الكريم ملئ بالآيات التي اشتملت على أدعية، وهذه الأدعية لابد وأن تشتمل على لفظ الجلالة (الله) أو (رب) وهو المقصود والمنادى سبحانه وتعالى، ولكن اللافت للأمر ما ورد من الأدعية بلفظ (اللهم) وهي آيات معدودة في القرآن الكريم. والمنهج في البحث: التركيز على لفظة (اللهم) في الآيات السابقة وما يتعلق بها مع الاختصار وعدم الإسهاب في تفسير بقية الآية لوجود ذلك في كتب التفسير. كتابة الآيات القرآنية بالرسم العثماني المخصص لذلك من الناسوخ. عزو الأحاديث والآثار الواردة في البحث، فإن كانت في الصحيحين أو أحدهما فأكتفي بذلك وأن لم يكن فإني أقوم بتخريجها والحكم عليها من خلال كتب العلماء المتخصصين. وأهم نتائج البحث وتوصياته: فضل الدعاء بلفظ (اللهم) لما اشتملت عليه من توحيد الألوهية والتذلل لله تعالى. أن لفظ (اللهم) ويا الله كلاهما لفظان صحيحان في الدعاء بل يكادان يكونان بمعنى واحد لأن لفظ اللهم هو عبارة عن يالله فحذفت منه الياء تخفيفا. الجمع بين (اللهم) و(ربنا) في الدعاء هو جمع بين توحيد الألوهية والربوبية وهو اختيار الرسل عليهم الصلاة والسلام كما في قول عيسى عليه السلام (اللهم ربنا.... سخافة عقول المشركين وجهلهم العظيم حيث كان من دعائهم على أنفسهم بالهلاك إن كان ما جاء به محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم حق، والأجدر بهم أن يدعوا الله الهداية.

Supplication is one of the greatest acts of worship; in fact, it is the essence of worship itself due to the humility and dependence it expresses towards Allah, the Exalted. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Supplication is worship." The Holy Quran is filled with verses that include supplications, and these supplications must include the names of Allah (God) or (Lord), which refer to the One being invoked, the Exalted and Almighty. However, what is noteworthy are the supplications that use the term "O Allah," which are a limited number of verses in the Holy Quran. The method in the research: focusing on the word (O God) in the previous verses and what is related to it, while being brief and not elaborating on the interpretation of the rest of the verse because that is in the books of interpretation. Writing Qur’anic verses using the designated Uthmani script from the Nasukhi script. Attributing the hadiths and narrations mentioned in the research. If they are in the two Sahih books or one of them, then I will suffice with that. If not, then I will graduate them and judge them through the books of specialized scholars. The most important results and recommendations of the research: The virtue of supplicating with the word (O God) because it includes the unity of divinity and submission to God Almighty. The words (O God) and O God are both correct words in supplication. Rather, they almost have the same meaning because the word O God is an expression of O God, so the yā’ was removed from it in lightness. Combining (O God) and (Our Lord) in supplication is a combination of the unification of divinity and divinity, and it is the choice of the Messengers, peace and blessings be upon them, as in the saying of Jesus, peace be upon him (O God, our Lord... The foolishness of the minds of the polytheists and their great ignorance, as one of their prayers for their own destruction was if what Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, brought was true, and it is better for them to pray to God for guidance.
