المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى جمع ألفاظ الأضداد التي وردت في كتب (الصحيحين)، وبيان أن ثبوت هذه الظاهرة في السنة يعد دليلا قويا على حسم جدلية الأضداد في التراث العربي والواقع اللغوي من خلال حكمهم بضدية اللفظ عن طريق الرواية واللسان الفصيح، والرد على من أنكرها، ويهدف البحث أيضا إلى استجلاء مفهوم الأضداد بعرض الرؤى المختلفة عند علماء الحديث واستعراض طريقتهم في تفسيرها والاستشهاد لها، ومنهجهم في الموازنة وترجيح أحد المعاني للألفاظ المتضادة واتبعت المنهج الوصفي بأداتيه (الاستقراء والتحليل)، وقد رتبت ألفاظ الأضداد ترتيبا هجائيا. ومن أهم النتائج بيان أهمية الأضداد في كتب الحديث وأثرها في توجيه المعنى، وتعدد الأوجه، وتوسيع الدلالة، واستنباط الحكم، وبيان وجه الشبه بين اللغويين وشراح الحديث، إذ أقروا بوجود الأضداد في اللغة، وسلكوا فيها مسلكا وسطا بين الموسعين والمضيقين، وناقشوا دلالاتها، وبينوا ما ثبت من ألفاظ الأضداد واستشهدوا لها، وربطوا دلالاتها بتفسير نصوص السنة، كما أن التضاد عند شراح الحديث يدخل في المشترك اللفظي، إلا أن المشترك أعم منه.

The research aims to collect the auto-antonyms that appear in the books of As-Sahihain (Al-Bukhari and Muslim), and to demonstrate that the existence of this phenomenon in the Sunnah serves as strong evidence to decisively resolve the debate on auto-antonyms in Arabic heritage and linguistic reality through their classification based on narration and classical Arabic language. It also aims to refute those who deny it. The research further seeks to clarify the concept of auto-antonyms by presenting different views among hadith scholars and reviewing their methods in interpreting and referencing them, as well as their approach to balancing and favoring one meaning over the opposite word. The descriptive method was followed using its tools (induction and analysis), and the auto-antonyms were arranged alphabetically. Among the most important results are highlighting the importance of auto-antonyms in hadith books and their impact on guiding meaning, the multiplicity of aspects, broadening interpretation, and deriving rulings. It also illustrates the similarity between linguists and hadith commentators, as they both acknowledged the existence of auto-antonyms in language, adopted a moderate approach between the expansive and restrictive, discussed their meanings, confirmed established auto-antonym words, referenced them, and linked their meanings to interpreting Sunnah texts. Moreover, auto-antonyms in the interpretation of hadith commentators fall under the phenomenon of polysemy, although polysemy is broader.
