المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث أدب الكاتبة المتميزة "أمال الشاذلي"، وذلك من خلال أحد الأعمال الأدبية المطروحة روائيا "إيقاع الموج والزبد، ومن هنا كانت دوافع الدراسة للبحث، عن الموقف الأدبي الذي تبنته الأديبة المبدعة، تجاه تيار الدور الفعال للشخصية النسائية، ومدى المزج بين هذا الدور، ودروب الواقع المجتمعي المعاصر، بكل ما يحتويه من مشكلات متعلقة بالمرأة في المجتمع المصري، فشكلت لها قضايا مجتمعية شائكة في بيئتها المجتمعية، وقد اتجه البحث إلى دراسة قضايا المرأة في المجتمع المصري، متناولا نماذج للعديد من الشخصيات النسائية، عاشت تلك القضايا في كل شرائح المجتمع، بمستوياتها المختلفة عارضا التشكيل النفسي المتفاوت لتلك الشخصيات، وفقا لوقوعها تحت وطأة الصراعات النفسية، ويعرض المجال البحثي رؤية الكاتبة، في أحداث الواقع المجتمعي، فتبرز المعاناة المجتمعية على ضفاف العمل الأدبي، ويقف البحث عند بعض العلامات والمعاني، المقتصرة على المواجهة المجتمعية للشخصيات في إطار الرواية، وفي الوقت نفسه يتم إنشاء إطار فني على أساس الخصائص الفنية للعمل الأدبي، ليتسنى لنا القدرة على ربط الأحداث الدرامية للقصة بالحقائق المجتمعية، وكذلك عالم الرواية، وقد أتت رواية "إيقاع الموت والزبد" مقسمة إلى تسعة عشر فصلا، وتحمل الرواية صراعات بين ثنائيات متضادة مثل الماضي والحاضر، والليل والنهار، والموت والحياة، وتدور أحداث الرواية حول هذا الصراع منذ بدايتها إلى النهاية التي تركتها الكاتبة مفتوحة وبنية الرواية تعتمد على تقنية الراوي العليم، وتزخر الرواية بالحديث عن مدينة الإسكندرية، وهي المكان البارز في الرواية، المنهج المتبع في البحث هو المنهج التحليلي الفني.

This research deals with the literature of the distinguished writer Amal Al-Shazly, through one of the literary works presented as a novel, “The Rhythm of the Wave and the Foam”. Hence, the motives of the study were to search for the literary stance adopted by the creative writer towards the trend of the active role of the female character, and the extent of the combination between this role and the paths of contemporary societal reality, with all the problems it contains related to women in Egyptian society, which presented her with thorny societal issues in Its community environment, The research turned to studying women’s issues in Egyptian society, examining examples of many female characters who lived through these issues in all segments of society, at their different levels, displaying the varying psychological composition of these characters, according to their occurrence under the burden of psychological conflicts. The research field presents the writer’s vision, in the events Societal reality, so societal suffering emerges on the banks of literary work, The research stops at some signs and meanings, limited to the societal confrontation of the characters within the framework of the novel, and at the same time an artistic framework is created on the basis of the artistic characteristics of the literary work, so that we can be able to link the dramatic events of the story to societal realities, as well as the world of the novel. The novel "The Rhythm of Death and Foam" is divided into nineteen chapters, and the novel contains conflicts between opposing dualities such as past and present, day and night, and death and life. The events of the novel revolve around this conflict from its beginning to the end, which the writer left open. The structure of the novel depends on the technique of the knowledgeable narrator. The novel is full of talk about the city of Alexandria, which is the prominent place in the novel ,The method used in the research: is the technical analytical method.
