المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى سبر كتاب: "المقدمة" لأبي عمرو بن الصلاح، وجمع ما تفرق فيه من تعقبات للحافظ ابن الصلاح على الخطيب البغدادي، هذه التعقبات النفيسة التي أودعها ابن الصلاح في كتابه الفذ، والتي استدركها على الخطيب البغدادي، وقد قام الباحث بدراسة كل تعقب منها على حدة، ونقل أقوال العلماء حول هذه التعقبات، والإجابة عنها، ثم قام الباحث- أيضا- بتحليل هذه التعقبات وبيان الراجح في كل تعقب، ومدى إصابة المتعقب فيه، وبيان مدى تأثر المتعقِب والمتعقَب بالمناهج العلمية التي لها علاقة بعلوم الحديث كمنهج الفقهاء والأصوليين، وقد سلك الباحث منهج الاستقراء والتحليل في دراسته، والله الموفق والهادي إلى سواء السبيل. ومن أهم نتائج هذا البحث: أن أبرزت لنا هذه التعقبات جانبا من تطور التصنيف في علم مصطلح الحديث وضبط أنواعه ومصطلحاته بين جيل أبي بكر الخطيب وطبقته في أواخر القرن الرابع، وبين جيل ابن الصلاح وطبقته في القرن السابع، وأن التعقبات قد تقوم على اختلاف وجهات النظر بين العالمين: المتعقِب والمتعقَب، فالشخصية النقدية للعالِم لها أثر في ذلك، وأن تعقب العلماء على من سبقهم يكشف بعض الأوهام التي وقع فيها السابقون، وهذا لا شك له فائدة كبيرة في تصحيح القضايا العلمية وضبطها وإثرائها، وأنه لا يلزم كون المتعقِب مصيبا، ولا كون المتعقَب مخطئا، فالمتعقب قد يصيب وقد يخطئ في تعقبه؛ فلا ينبغي تقليده قبل دراسة موضوع التعقب دراسة وافية، وأن تعقبات ابن الصلاح على الخطيب البغدادي أظهرت لنا بعضا من العوامل التي لأجلها ارتفعت منزلة كتاب ابن الصلاح عند العلماء.

The research aims to examine the book of "Al-Moqaddemah" which written by: "Abu Amr Ibn Alssalah" and gathering what is separated in it from trackings on "Al Khateeb Al Baghdadi". These precious trackings Which Ibn Alssalah deposited it in his feat book which realize it on "Al Khateeb Al Baghdadi". The researcher conducted a study aroud all tracking Separately and wrote down the opinions of the Scholars around These trackings and reply to it. Then he also analyzed these trackings, cleared up the preponderant in all tracking, the bezel of rightness from the tracker in it, the bezel of affect from the tracker and who was the tracking on him With the scientific curriculum which have a relation with "Hadith sciences" such as the curricula of jurists and Fundamentalists (Fuqahaa and Osuleion). The researcher has Followed an Induction and Analysis methodology in his studies. ALLAH is the Conciliator and the Guide to the straight path. One of the most important results of this research is that these observations highlighted for us an aspect of the development of classification in the science of hadith terminology and the control of its types and terminology between the generation of Abu Bakr al-Khatib and his class in the late fourth century, and between the generation of Ibn al-Salah and his class in the seventh century, and that the observations may be based on different points of view. Between the two worlds: the follower and the pursued. The critical personality of the scientist has an impact on this, and that the scholars' tracking of those who came before them reveals some of the illusions that the predecessors fell into. This is undoubtedly of great benefit in correcting, controlling, and enriching scientific issues, and it is not necessary for the follower to be correct, nor for the fact that The tracker is wrong. The tracker may be correct or he may make a mistake in tracking him. It should not be imitated before thoroughly studying the subject of tracking, and Ibn al-Salah's follow-ups on al-Khatib al-Baghdadi showed us some of the factors due to which the status of Ibn al-Salah's book rose among scholars.
