المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة مشكلة التشاؤم عند الفيلسوف شوبنهاور الذي يعد واحدًا من الفلاسفة القائلين بالتشاؤم في الحياة، وكان لذلك أثره على شخصيته وحياته، وحاولت الدراسة الكشف عن مفهوم التشاؤم عند شوبنهاور ومدى ارتباطه بشخصيته باعتباره مرضا نفسيًا تغلغل في أعماقه، مؤكدا على أن تشاؤم هذا الفيلسوف لا يمت للدين الإسلامي لا من قريب ولا من بعيد إذ إنه يتناقض تمامًا مع روح الدين الحنيف. مع محاولة توضيح الدوافع السلبية للتشاؤم عنده، وبيان الحالة النفسية التي أثرت في شخصيته، وفي سبيل ذلك اعتمدت على المنهج التحليلي النقدي الذي يبين منهج الرجل في اختياره لهذه الفلسفة التشاؤمية التي مفادها أن الحياة كلها شر والرد على ذلك وتفنيده، وذلك بنقد الأسباب التي كانت سببًا في تشاؤمه، وقد تمخضت الدراسة عن عدة نتائج تتمحور جميعها حول شخصية شوبنهاور الذي كان يدعو للإباحية والشذوذ الجنسي وإلى الرقص والغناء وشرب الخمور ... وما إلى ذلك الأمر الذي ينعكس على حياته بالفشل والتعاسة وعدم الراحة، وأيضًا كرهه لرجال الدين خاصة الدين المسيحي ورجال اللاهوت المسيحي؛ مما يدل على عدم احترامه للآخرين ولو كانوا على غير ملته أو مذهبه، وفي إطار ذلك ظهر أن التشاؤم مرض خطير يجب على الإنسان أن يتجنبه بكل الوسائل؛ لأنه يدمر الفرد والأسرة والمجتمع على السواء.

This research aims to study the problem of pessimism among the philosopher Schopenhauer, who is considered one of the philosophers who advocate pessimism in life, and this had an impact on his personality and life. The study attempted to reveal the concept of pessimism according to Schopenhauer and the extent of its connection to his personality as a psychological illness that penetrated his depths, emphasizing the The pessimism of this philosopher is not related to the Islamic religion, neither remotely nor remotely, as it completely contradicts the spirit of the true religion. With an attempt to clarify the negative motives for his pessimism, and explain the psychological state that affected his personality, In order to do this, I relied on the critical analytical approach that shows the man's approach in choosing this pessimistic philosophy, which states that all life is evil, and responding to that and refuting it, by criticizing the reasons that were the cause of his pessimism. The study produced several results, all of which revolve around the personality of Schopenhauer, who was He calls for pornography, homosexuality, dancing, singing, drinking alcohol, etc., which reflects on his life with failure, unhappiness, and discomfort, and also his hatred for the clergy, especially the Christian religion, and Christian theologians; Which indicates his lack of respect for others, even if they are not from his religion or sect. In this context, it has become clear that pessimism is a dangerous disease that a person must avoid by all means. Because it destroys the individual, the family, and society alike.
