يتضمن مفهوم ارتباط الحدث بالزمان والمكان في الرواية العربية الحديثة تصوير الموقع المكاني للقصة والزمان الذي يجري فيه الحدث. يعمل هذا الارتباط على تعزيز واقعية القصة ومساعدة القارئ على فهم أعمق للحاضر والماضي في الرواية. ويلعب ذلك دورا حاسما في تطوير القصة وإيصال رسالتها. كما يساهم هذا الارتباط في توفير التفاصيل اللازمة لإحاطة القارئ بالبيئة والظروف التي نحدث فيها الأحداث وكيفية تأثيرها على الشخصيات وتطورها. فعندما يتم تحديد زمان ومكان الحدث، يتم تحديد الخلفية التي تتم فيها الأحداث وتطور الشخصيات. يمكن للزمان والمكان أن يخلقا جوا من التشويق والتوتر أو من السعادة والأمان ويؤثران على نهاية القصة. حيث أن ارتباط الحدث بالزمان والمكان في الرواية العربية الحديثة يلعب دورًا حاسما في تطوير القصة وتأثير الشخصيات ويساهم في إيصال رسالة الرواية وإبراز التفاصيل المهمة لفهم أعمق للبيئة والظروف التي تحدث فيها الأحداث. كما يتم استخدام الزمان والمكان بشكل رمزي لنقل معاني أعمق ورمزية تعكس التغيرات الاجتماعية والثقافية في المجتمع. وهذا ما حفز الدراسة لأن تطرح رؤيتها في معالجة موضوعها تحت عنوان (ارتباط الحدث بالزمان والمكان في الرواية العربية الحديثة) وفي سبيل تحقيق هذه الرؤية ارتضت الدراسة لنفسها منهجاً إجرائياً، فقد لجأت الدراسة إلى المنهج الوصفي التحليلي فيما يخص توضيح ارتباط الحدث بالزمان، وارتباط الحدث بالمكان ودلالاته باعتبارها مكوناً أساسياً وفنياً في البناء الروائي. قام البحث على مقدمة، ومبحثين وخاتمة وثبت بالمصادر والمراجع، تضمن المدخل تحديد مفهوم ارتباط الحدث بالزمان والمكان في الرواية العربية الحديثة، وتضمن المبحث الأول دراسة (ارتباط الحدث بالزمان في الرواية العربية الحديثة)، في حين خص المبحث الثاني بدراسة (ارتباط الحدث بالمكان في الرواية العربية الحديثة)، ثم جاءت بعد ذلك الخاتمة لتربط فصول ومباحث الدراسة بعضها ببعض، ملخصة لها، ومتضمنة لأهم النتائج والمعطيات التي تم التوصل إليها.
The concept of linking the event to time and place in the modern Arabic novel includes depicting the spatial location of the story and the time in which the event takes place. This link enhances the realism of the story and helps the reader gain a deeper understanding of the present and past in the novel. This plays a crucial role in developing the story and conveying its message. This link also contributes to providing the necessary details to inform the reader of the environment and circumstances in which the events take place and how they affect the characters and their development. When the time and place of the event are determined, the background in which the events take place and the characters develop is determined. Time and place can create an atmosphere of suspense and tension or happiness and security and affect the ending of the story. As the linking of the event to time and place in the modern Arabic novel plays a crucial role in developing the story and the impact of the characters and contributes to conveying the message of the novel and highlighting important details for a deeper understanding of the environment and circumstances in which the events take place. Time and place are also used symbolically to convey deeper and symbolic meanings that reflect the social and cultural changes in society. This is what motivated the study to present its vision in dealing with its subject under the title (The connection of the event to time and place in the modern Arabic novel). In order to achieve this vision, the study accepted a procedural approach. The study resorted to the descriptive analytical approach with regard to clarifying the connection of the event to time, and the connection of the event to place and its connotations as a basic and artistic component in the novel structure. The research was based on an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references. The introduction included defining the concept of the connection of the event to time and place in the modern Arabic novel. The first chapter included a study of (The connection of the event to time in the modern Arabic novel), while the second chapter was devoted to a study of (The connection of the event to place in the modern Arabic novel). Then came the conclusion to link the chapters and chapters of the study to each other, summarizing them, and including the most important results and data that were reached.
