Food shortage is the biggest dilemma facing the world; it has threatened food security in several countries, especially the poor ones, and in the first place the African continent, which, by nature, depends on agriculture as a basic sector to secure its food. This dilemma is due to several reasons besides the undeveloped and traditional local agricultural sector. The present research paper aims to highlight the reasons behind this dilemma and what artificial intelligence can achieve in the field of food provision by developing a reliable agricultural sector. |
