|b The Moroccan Atlantic Initiative represents an important step towards enhancing African integration and cooperation, and reflects the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment to effectively contributing to achieving political, economic and security goals and realizing the African continent’s aspirations for sustainable development and prosperity, and openness to the American and European space. This initiative also aims to achieve economic and commercial integration between the countries of the region and confront the major challenges facing the African continent in terms of security, political stability, civil wars, conflicts, military coups and the intensification of international competition in the region.
