|a تنطلق هذه المداخلة البحثية من واقع حرب الإبادة الإسرائيلية في غزة (2023 - )، للبحث في الجذور الحداثية للمدينة وآلة الحرب الحديثة، لتقدم مفهوم المجال (Territory) بما هو أداة أساسية لبناء الشرط الاستعماري، وتحديدا المدينة الحديثة. فتطرح الإقليم بما هو سياسة جسدية وحركية للهمينة المجالية، ومن ثم دولنة الإقليم لفرض السيطرة، من خلال المدينة بما هي آلة حرب، بالاستفادة من البحث في السياسات المدينية والتخطيطية لمدينتي يافا وبئر السبع مقارنة بغزة في الحرب، لتطرح مفهمة للإبادة المدينية في المنظومة الاستعمارية، لتصبح الإبادة المستمرة مرآة للنكبة المستمرة بما هي سياسة مكانية قائمة على نفي الفلسطيني جسدا وحركة ومجالا خارج التاريخ والجغرافيا. تخلص المداخلة إلى طرح الإبادة المدينية بما هي أساس عملية الاستعمار الاستيطاني الإسرائيلي الحديث منذ النكبة وحتى لحظة غزة.
|b This research intervention originates from the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza (2023 - ), aiming to investigate the contemporary origins of the city and the modern military apparatus, while articulating the notion of territory as a crucial instrument in the establishment of the colonial apparatus, particularly within the context of the modern city. The colonial production of territory is characterized as a corporeal and dynamic strategy for spatial dominance, wherein statehood is enforced to exert control, utilizing the city as a mechanism of warfare, drawing insights from the urban policies and planning of Jaffa and Beersheba as accumulated towards Gaza. This introduces the notion of Urbicide within the colonial framework, positioning continual extermination as a manifestation of the persistent and continuous Nakba, characterized by a spatial policy that negates the Palestinian as a corporeal entity, mobility, and spatial presence beyond history and geography. The intervention culminates by framing Urbicide as the cornerstone of the contemporary Israeli settler colonial paradigm from the Nakba to the current situation in Gaza.
