المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى إبراز علماء المسلمين عموما وعلماء اليمن على وجه الخصوص، والتعريف بهم وبجهدهم العلمي في خدمة السنة النبوية، وكذلك إبراز آراء العلماء في تحديد وقت الفطر، وقولهم في الأحاديث التي وردت في من يسمع النداء والإناء على يده، فضلا عن التعرف بالقاضي باحنان، وإلى بيان أحكام الرجل يسمع النداء والإناء على يده، وبيان أحكام وقت فطر الصائم، والمنهج المتبع في هذه الدراسة هو عزو الآيات القرآنية الواردة إلى سورها، وتخريج الأحاديث النبوية الواردة في المخطوط، فما ورد في الصحيحين اكتفي بتخريجه، وما كان خارجهما أضيف إلى ذلك حكم الحديث معتمدا على أهل الاختصاص في ذلك، وتوثيق الاقتباسات والنقول من مواضعها، وذكر ذلك في الحاشية، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى نتائج من أبرزها: لوحظ اهتمام القاضي باحنان بكتابه نيل المقصود وإخراجه بحلة قشيبة رائعة تليق بالعلم الذي تضمنه، كما أن هذا الكتاب مملوء بالمسائل الفقهية المتنوعة والفوائد المختلفة، فمنها: ذكر الحديث متبوعا بالترجمة لرجال السند، وعزو الحديث إلى مظانه، وذكر الألفاظ التي اشتملت عليها الرواية متبوعة بالعزو، والحكم على الحديث، والتعرض للألفاظ الواردة من الناحية اللغوية، وبيان معاني الألفاظ الغريبة، وسرد آراء الفقهاء حول المسائل الواردة في الحديث، فهي أشبه بموسوعة علميه حديثية فقهية.

The study aimed to highlight Muslim scholars in general and Yemeni scholars in particular, and to introduce them and their scientific efforts in serving the Prophetic Sunnah. Also, it aimed to highlight the opinions of scholars in determining the time of breaking the fast and their statements on the hadiths that mention a man hearing the call to prayer while holding a vessel. Additionally, introducing Judge Bahnan and to explain the rulings of these two issues. Therefore, the methodology is based on attributing Quranic verses to their respective chapters and verifying the authenticity of the prophetic traditions cited in the manuscript. The hadiths cited in the two Sahihs (Bukhari and Muslim) were only attributed, while those outside them were subject to the ruling of the hadith based on the opinions of experts in this field. In addition, the study includes documenting quotations and attributing them to their sources, with relevant commentary included. The study concluded several notable results, including that Judge ibn Shamlah Bahanan showed great interest in his book "Nail Al-Maqsoud" and presented it in a splendid form befitting the knowledge it contained. The book is filled with various jurisprudential issues and different benefits, such as mentioning the hadith followed by the translation of the men in the chain of narration, attributing the hadith to its sources, mentioning the words contained in the narration followed by attribution, passing judgment on the hadith, examining the words from a linguistic perspective, explaining the meanings of unfamiliar words, and presenting the opinions of scholars on the issues mentioned in the hadith. Thus, it is similar to an encyclopedic, scholarly, hadith, and jurisprudential work.
