المستخلص: يتمتع رسامو الكاريكاتير بممارسات مرتبطة بحرية التعبير، وغالبًا ما يتناول الباحثون العلاقة بين هذه الحرية ومدى إخضاع الرسوم الكاريكاتورية لسلطة الرقابة. ومع ذلك، تغيب تقريبًا مناقشة المسألة الأخلاقية وعلاقتها بالرسوم الكاريكاتورية ومدى مراعاتها في بناء القصة الكاريكاتورية. سواء كانت مرتبطة بالرسالة اللفظية من خلال التعليق أو غير اللفظية من خلال العناصر الشكلية للكاريكاتير، ومن جهة أخرى، موقع الأخلاق لدى رسامي الكاريكاتير ومدى الالتزام المهني وانعكاسه على أدائهم. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة المدى الحقيقي لمراعاة الأخلاقيات بالنسبة لرسامي الكاريكاتير والمعايير التي يحتكمون إليها في تحديدها، وذلك من وجهة نظر رسامي الكاريكاتير في الجزائر وتونس والمغرب. تم الاعتماد على أداة جمع البيانات المتمثلة في المقابلة. وفي الختام، خلصت الدراسة إلى أن رسامي الكاريكاتير أكدوا ولاءهم وانتماءهم واهتمامهم بالمسألة الأخلاقية في رسوماتهم، إلا أن هذا الاهتمام، وفقًا لوجهة نظرهم، غالبًا ما يكون إلزاميًا ولا يعتمد على اختيارهم الشخصي.

Caricaturists’ practices are often linked to freedom of expression, and researchers frequently discuss the relationship between this freedom and the extent to which caricatures are subject to censorship authority. However, the ethical issue and its relationship to cartoons are often absent from discussions regarding the construction of the cartoon story, whether it is related to the verbal message through commentary or the non-verbal elements of caricature. On the other hand, the position of morality among caricaturists, the extent of professional commitment, and its impact on their performance are also of interest. Through this study, we aim to explore the true extent of ethical consideration among caricaturists and the standards they rely on to determine it, from the perspective of caricaturists in Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco, using interviews as the primary data collection tool. The study’s most significant findings concluded that the caricaturists in the sample affirmed their loyalty to their affiliation and recognized the importance of ethical issues in their drawings. However, according to their point of view, this ethical consideration is often seen as mandatory and not a personal choice.

Les pratiques des caricaturistes sont souvent liées à la liberté d’expression, et les chercheurs abordent fréquemment la relation entre cette liberté et la mesure dans laquelle les caricatures sont soumises à l’autorité de la censure. Toutefois, la question de l’éthique et de sa relation avec les caricatures est souvent absente dans la discussion sur la construction de l’histoire de la caricature, qu’elle soit liée au message verbal par le biais des commentaires ou au message non verbal à travers les éléments formels de la caricature. D’autre part, la position de la moralité chez les caricaturistes, l’étendue de l’engagement professionnel et son impact sur leur performance sont également des sujets d’intérêt. À travers cette étude, nous visons à déterminer l’étendue réelle du respect de la déontologie chez les caricaturistes et les normes sur lesquelles ils se basent pour la définir, selon leur point de vue, dans les pays suivants : Algérie, Tunisie et Maroc, en utilisant l’entretien comme principal outil de collecte de données. Les résultats les plus importants de l’étude ont révélé que les caricaturistes de l’échantillon ont exprimé leur fidélité à leur affiliation professionnelle et ont reconnu l’importance de la question éthique dans leurs dessins. Toutefois, selon leur point de vue, cette prise en compte des questions éthiques est souvent perçue comme une obligation et non comme un choix personnel.
