The Impact of Fiscal Policy on Economic Growth in Algeria: An Econometric Study during the Period 1990-2022 Using the ARDL Model

The study aims to measure the extent of the impact of fiscal policy on economic growth in light of the current economic transformations in Algeria, and the role that fiscal policy plays in achieving the desired objectives through addressing crises and activating economic activity. This is done using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The study concluded the following results: operating expenses and capital expenditures have a positive and significant impact on per capita gross domestic product, while tax revenues have a negative impact on it. |
