المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى تتبع جمالية الحكمة، وتغير دلالاتها في ضوء القراءة التحليلية الاستقرائية، ومحاولة الوقوف على غرض الحكمة؛ لكونها ظاهرة فكرية وفنية، فهي تمثل أحد أغراض الشعر العربي التي تعددت دلالاتها، لتأخذ أكثر من معنى يفسره موقف الشاعر وفق حدث معين. تشتمل الدراسة على تمهيد يتمثل في ترجمة لحياة الشاعر وشاعريته، ودراسة مفهوم الحكمة وعلاقتها بالشعر، وثلاثة مباحث الأول: مصادر الحكمة وتجلياتها في شعر التهامي، والثاني: أنماط الحكمة في شعره، والثالث: الخصائص الفنية للحكمة في شعره. ومن أبرز النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث: تنوع أنماط الحكمة في شعر التهامي بناء على مصادرها الأساسية والعلمية. وتتميز الحكمة في شعر التهامي بعدة خصائص من أبرزها تعدد الصور الفنية، وتوظيف تقنيات الرمز والتلميح.

The current research aims to examine the aesthetics of wisdom and the change of connotations in light of an inductive analytical reading. In doing so, it attempts to determine the objectives of wisdom owing to the fact that poetry of wisdom constitutes an intellectual and aesthetic phenomenon within Arab poetry whose connotations have varied, taking on more than one meaning that is interpreted by the poet’s situation at a certain event. The study consists of an introduction that offers a biography of the poet’s life and his poetry, a study of the concept of wisdom and its relationship to poetry, and three topics: the first is the sources of wisdom and its manifestations in Al-Tuhami’s poetry, the second is the patterns of wisdom in his poetry, and the third is the artistic characteristics of wisdom in his poetry. The findings of the study pointed out to the diversity of wisdom attributes in Al-Tuhami’s poetry according to its primary and scientific resources. Also, it can be said that the wisdom in his poetry is characterized by several attributes, the most prominent of which are the multiplicity of aesthetic images and using symbol and allusive techniques.
