|a مما لاشك فيه بأن اللفظ والمعنى هما وجهان لعملة واحدة؛ فالمدلولات ملازمة للدوال سواء أكانت منفردة ومعزولة عن السياق أو في السياق، وعليه تروم ورقتنا البحثية هذه إلى البحث في مادة معجم اللغة العربية المعاصرة للدكتور أحمد مختار عمر؛ وذلك بعرض نماذج تطبيقية تتوخى الوصول إلى المعنى الوظيفي كما في الصوتيات والصرف والنحو أو علاقات مبررة بين المفردات ومعانيها؛ وهو عرض يتناول نماذج تطبيقية من أجل الوصول إلى المعنى والحقائق التي دائما ما تحصل بتحليل المعنى الوظيفي
