|b The research is a documented historical response to those who denied or ignored the existence of an Arab– Islamic military theory or doctrine with clear foundations, as well as the existence of an Arab– Islamic military heritage. The research addressed the military doctrine of the Almoravid state in some detail and its military principles (rules of engagement, fighting pages between defence & attack and special fights) and passed quickly on the long unification battles of the Far West or the Almoravid jihad in Andalusia and its annexation in a brief manner.
