|a انقسم علم الاجتماع في مقارباته للظواهر الاجتماعية إلى مدخلين: مدخل موضوعي ينطلق من مسلمة كون المجتمع تحكمه قوى خارجة عن الفرد وملزمة له (الموضوعية من الخارج) ومن أبرز ممثلي هذا الاتجاه المدرسة الوضعية ممثلة في كانت ودوركايم وقوام هذه المدرسة التفسير السببي ومدخل ذاتي ينهض على مسلمة مؤداها: أن الدراسات الإنسانية بحاجة إلى طريقة منهجية متميزة في تحصيل المعرفة تلائم موضوعها، وتتلخص هذه الطريقة في نظرية الفهم. ومن أبرز ممثليها ديلتاي وماكس فيبر.
|b In its approaches to social phenomena, sociology was divided into two inputs: An objective entry point based on the premise that society is governed by forces outside the individual and bind them (objectivity from the outside). One of the most prominent representatives of this trend is the positivist school depicted by Kent and Durkeim and the strength of this school is the causal interpretation and self-entrance based on an assumed assumption that human studies require a distinct methodological method of knowledge acquisition that is relevant to their subject, and this method is summarized in the theory of understanding. One of its most prominent representatives is Deltay and Max Weber
