المستخلص: يعد الفكر الليبرتاري من الاتجاهات الحاضرة والمؤثرة بالفكر السياسي الأمريكي المعاصر، وعلى الرغم أن جذور نشأته تعود لنهاية القرن التاسع عشر لكن نضوجه السياسي لم يظهر إلا بمنتصف القرن العشرين، إذ تنوعت مدارسة الفكرية وانقسمت لعدة أيديولوجيات، والتي ناقشت العلاقة الشائكة بين الفرد والسلطة من منطلق تعظيمها الكبير للحرية مقابل اختزالها لمكانة السلطة للحد الأدنى، وحددت صلاحياتها بإقامة ورعاية المؤسسات العامة وتقديم الحماية الأمنية، ووفق منظورها هي لا تثق بسياسة الحكومة لأنها تستغل قدراتها وتشريعاتها لتحقق أهدافها فتمارس الإكراه القانوني لسلب أو تحجيم الحقوق والحريات العامة، مما يؤدي لخلق حالة من الصراعات المجتمعية غير المباشرة تهدد استقرارهم، ويعد فكر اليمين الليبرتاري الأكثر انتقادا للسلطة والأشد تعارضا مع توجهاتها وأستطاع الحفاظ على مكانته داخل الأوساط الشعبية والرسمية، لاستمراره بتطوير طروحاته السياسية من منطلق ثوابته الفكرية لتتواءم مع متطلبات الواقع، مما وسع من فاعلية تأثيره على الرأي العام الأمريكي ومسار سلوكه السياسي في القرن الحالي.

Libertarian thought is considered one of the current and influential trends in contemporary American political thought. Although the roots of its origins go back to the end of the nineteenth century, its political maturity did not appear until the middle of the twentieth century, as its schools of thought diversified and divided into several ideologies, which discussed the thorny relationship between the individual and authority from the standpoint of glorifying it. The great freedom of freedom in exchange for reducing the status of authority to a minimum, and its powers were limited to establishing and caring for public institutions and providing security protection, According to its perspective, it does not trust the government’s policy because it exploits its capabilities and legislation to achieve its goals, so it exercises legal coercion to deprive or limit public rights and freedoms, which leads to creating a state of indirect societal conflicts that threaten their stability, The thought of the libertarian right is considered the most critical of the authorities and the most inconsistent with its orientations. He was able to maintain his position within popular and official circles, because he continued to develop his political proposals based on his intellectual constants to be compatible with the requirements of reality, which expanded the effectiveness of his influence on American public opinion and the course of his political behaviour in the current century.
