المستخلص: Algeria's economy depends mainly on hydrocarbon exports. Since 2008, the Algerian government has adopted a genuine strategy of national industrialization, with the aim of diversifying its economy. This has led to the implementation of a number of reforms and institutional changes, encouraging many commercial companies to industrialize. One of the key sectors that has undergone a real transformation is the pharmaceutical sector. The aim of this article is to summarize what the Algerian government has designed and implemented as an industrial development strategy in this sector, and to look at the institutional and regulatory changes that have been national made to achieve this objective. It will then summarize the impact of these changes on the pharmaceutical industry.

L’économie algérienne dépend essentiellement des exportations d’hydrocarbures. Depuis 2008, le gouvernement algérien a adopté une véritable stratégie d’industrialisation nationale, dans le but de diversifier son économie. Cela a conduit à la mise en oeuvre d’un certain nombre de réformes et de changements institutionnels, incitant de nombreuses entreprises commerciales à s’industrialiser. L’un des secteurs clés qui a connu une véritable transformation est le secteur pharmaceutique. L’objectif de cet article est de résumer ce que le gouvernement algérien a conçu et mis en oeuvre comme stratégie de développement industriel dans ce secteur, et d’examiner les changements institutionnels et réglementaires qui ont été nationaux pour atteindre cet objectif. Il résume ensuite l’impact de ces changements sur l’industrie pharmaceutique.
