|b This research examines the crimes of atmospheric pollution caused by the leakage or release of radioactive materials and aims to highlight the environmental and health impacts of this type of pollution. The research focuses on the legal frameworks concerned with preventing these crimes and punishing their perpetrators. It also discusses the challenges related to the application of laws to radioactive environmental crimes, including the difficulty in detecting these crimes and assessing their long-term effects on living organisıns and the ecosystem. From a criminal perspective, the research focuses on determining the criminal liability of individuals involved in crimes of atmospheric pollution with radioactive materials. It analyzes the criminal aspects, including the identification of criminalized acts, the penalties associated with them, and the determination of intent or negligence in cases of radioactive leakage. The research also addresses the challenges faced by authorities in prosecuting radioactive crimes, such as the difficulty in identifying perpetrators in cases of unintentional leaks, and the complexities related to proving the causal link between the acts and the harmful outcomes, especially when the damage appears in the long term.
