المستخلص: هذا البحث يتناول مفهومي (المتن والحاشية) بعدهما مفهومين دالين على نوعين للنص النحوي العربي مختلفين في الرتبة المفهوم الأول (المتن) يشير لنص نحوي متقدم، والمفهوم الثاني (الحاشية) ويشير إلى تبعية هذا النص للنص الأول، وهذا البحث يحاول أن يستجلي المعايير التي جعلت من المتن متناً، وكذلك يحاول أن يكشف عن شروط الإمكان التي تقف خلف تلك المعايير، ويبين الأسباب التي أدت إلى ظهور المعايير، والسمات التي اتسم بها ذلك النص فجعلت منه نصاً مؤثراً في الفكر النحوي، ومنحته تلك السلطة المعرفية التي فرضت هيمنتها على النص النحوي الآخر المتمثل بـ (الحاشية)، وأجبرته على السير خلفه والنسج على منواله، والدور في فلكه، فإذا كان المعيار الذي اعتمده البحث لتحديد المتن هو المعيار (التاريخي الواقعي) ونعني به أن مؤلفاً ما قد كتبت عليه فعلاً في مرحلة تاريخية ما حاشية (أو حواش)، فإن شروط الإمكان تبين الأسباب التي دفعت المحشين لكتابة الحواشي على ذلك النص لتجعل منه متنا نحويا. فيبدأ البحث ببيان المعنى اللغوي والاصطلاحي لكل من (المتن والحاشية)، ثم يتتبع تاريخ ظهورهما في النحو العربي، بعدها يشرع ببيان معايير تحديد المتن، وشروط الإمكان التي تقف وراء تلك المعايير، لينتهي إلى خاتمة تتضمن أهم نتائجه.

This research deals with the concepts of (the body and the footnote), which are two concepts that indicate two types of Arabic grammatical text, different in rank. The first concept (the body) refers to an advanced grammatical text, and the second concept (the footnote) refers to the subordination of this text to the first text. This research attempts to clarify the criteria that You made the text into a text, It also attempts to reveal the conditions of possibility that stand behind those standards, and explains the reasons that led to the emergence of the standards, and the features that characterized that text, which made it an influential text in grammatical thought, and gave it that cognitive authority that imposed its dominance over the other grammatical text represented by (the footnote). And I forced him to follow him, weave in his style, and revolve in his orbit. If the criterion adopted by the research to determine the text is the (realistic historical) criterion, by which we mean that a footnote (or footnotes) was actually written on a certain work at a certain historical stage, then the conditions of possibility explain the reasons that prompted the annotators to write footnotes on that text to make it text. Grammatically. The research begins by explaining the linguistic and terminological meaning of both (the body and the footnote), then it traces the history of their appearance in Arabic grammar, after which it begins by explaining the criteria for defining the text, and the conditions of possibility that stand behind those criteria, ending with a conclusion that includes its most important results.
