Over time, sports have increasingly intersected with various facets of life, prompting a surge in interest and recognition of its multifaceted roles in society. Consequently, the notion of sports governance has gained prominence in recent years. This concept seeks to enhance the impact of sports across different domains by adhering to overarching governance principles, such as transparency and anti-corruption measures. Based on this premise, the article titled "Principles of Sports Governance: A Rational Approach to Enhancing Local Community Services" seeks to underscore the rationality behind leveraging sports governance to elevate various services desired by citizens within their local environments. These services encompass areas such as volunteerism, environmental conservation, and public health initiatives. The article endeavors to achieve this by presenting a theoretical framework that delves into the conceptual underpinnings of sports governance, its historical evolution, as well as its principles, objectives, significance, and role in enhancing the sports sector. Ultimately, the aim is to demonstrate how an improved sports sector can positively impact the social fabric and contribute to the enhancement of local community services. |
