|a تعد الأمثال الشعبية مرآة عاكسة لثقافة الشعوب، وتقوم باختصار الكثير من الأحداث في كلمات قليلة، وتُساعد في تقريب المعنى من النفس وتثبته في العقل، كما لها دور مهم في الحفاظ على هوية المجتمع لكونها تمثل التراث الإنساني الطويل، وهي كذلك مستودعاً للعادات والتقاليد الاجتماعية، وتحمل خلاصة التجارب الاجتماعية. كما تختزل العديد من الخبرات الإنسانية، وتقدمها للآخرين بجمل جاهزة لكي يأخذوا منها العبرة، لهذا فإن أهمية الأمثال الشعبية لا تقل عن أهمية التراث الثقافي. جاءت هذه الدراسة الوصفية التحليلية التي اعتمدنا فيها منهج المسح الاجتماعي بواسطة العينة عبر عدة مفاصل وكانت من أهم نتائجها، أن هناك درجة اتفاق كبيرة بين المستويات التعليمية الثلاثة في اعتقادها بالأمثال الشعبية إذ يميل أكثريتهم للاعتقاد بها.

Summary of social experiences. It also summarizes many human experiences and presents them to others in ready-made sentences so that they can take a lesson from them. This is why the importance of popular proverbs is no less than the importance of cultural heritage. This analytical descriptive study, in which we relied on the social survey method, was conducted using the sample across several sections, and one of its most important results was that there is a large degree of agreement between the three educational levels in their belief in popular proverbs, as the majority of them tend to believe in them.
