المستخلص: The Study aims to understand how far the emergence of the Christian Zionism ideology was a very product of the main Anglo-Saxon culture ideas and ideologies, and to examine these relations inside the African continent following the Western colonial scramble. Meanwhile, the study paid special attention to the activities of Pentecostal and Anglican churches in the late nineteenth century’ United States in order to explore the roots of Christian Zionism in Africa and its penetration among several layers of the African elites. Also, the study, while tended to deconstruct the main elements of Christian Zionism, has focused on the relations between Jewish and Zionism history on one hand, and the development of the Christian Zionism throughout Africa. It was evident that these relations were the real base for creating a pro-Zionism lobby amongst number of African leaders and presidents throughout the past decades until the present crisis in Gaza (Palestine) since October 7th, 2023. The study also provided, directly and indirectly, explanations for the African division towards the Palestinian question since its inception in the early years of the 20th Century (such as South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria in supporting the Palestinians, against attitudes of countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia and Zambia who frankly or underlying supported the Israeli genocide war against civilians in Gaza). In sum, the study tried to answer a main question related to how far Christian Zionism has penetrated amongst the African elites and public (in certain cases such as Kenya and Ethiopia) and its accompanied influence. Accordingly, the study examined the role of Christian Zionism in shaping and constituting of political and cultural African elites inside the black continent.
