المستخلص: انتخبت الدراسة موضوع (الزمن الاسترجاعي وأنواعه في سرديات واثق الجلبي- التوظيف والدلالة- دراسة تحليلية وصفية)، متوخيا بذلك معرفة نسبية الإتقان لعنصر الزمن في منجز هذا الأديب، ومن ثم الوقوف على الكيفية التي تبناها هذا المبدع في التوظيفات الدلالية للزمن الاسترجاعي. تأسيسا على ذلك كان الهدف من البحث الوقوف على تجربة السرد العراقي، ومعيارية التعامل والتحكم ببنائية الزمن، متخذة- أي الدراسة- من واثق الجلبي أنموذجا سرديا كعينة للبحث، ولابد من الإشارة إلى سبب الاختيار بوصفه قلما إبداعيا اتسم بالشمول الأدبي، فضلا عن أسلوبه المائز في مجال السرد، وهذا ما صرحه به عدد من النقاد أمثال (جمعة عبد الله) و(محمود الهاشمي)، فهما يجدانه ذا أسلوب مختلف عن الكثيرين؛ لأن في كثير من كتابته الأدبية يجنس ما بين (الشعر والنثر) في سرده مع طغيان نزعة التشويق في منجزه؛ بسبب مهارته السردية والإتقان للنسج الفني المتسم بالسلاسة، علاوة على ذلك انماز ما يكتبه بالعمق واستقطاب الجنبة الفكرية والتاريخية في كثير من أعماله؛ بذلك يكون- كما قال عنه الناقد الهاشمي-: (بأنه اختلق لنفسه أسلوبا خاصا في الكتابة بما يتناول).

The study chose the subject of (retrospective time and its types in the narratives of Wathiq Al-Chalabi- Recruitment and Connotation- A descriptive analytical study), that aiming to know the relative mastery of the element of time in the work of this writer, and then to determine the method adopted by this creator in the semantic uses of retrospective time. Based on this, the aim of the research was to examine the experience of the Iraqi narrative, and the standard of dealing with and controlling the structure of time, taking- that is, the study- from Wathiq Al-Chalabi as a narrative model as a sample for the research. The reason for the choice must be pointed out as he is a creative pen characterized by literary comprehensiveness, in addition to his distinguished style in writing. The field of narration, and this is what a number of critics have stated, such as (Joma'a Abdullah) and (Mahmoud Al-Hashemi), as they find it to have a different style than many; Because in much of his literary writing, he combines (poetry and prose) in his narration with an abundance of suspense in his work. Because of his narrative skill and mastery of smooth artistic weaving, in addition to that, what he writes is distinguished by its depth and the intellectual and historical aspect of many of his works. Thus, as the Al-Hashimi critic said about him, he means: (that he invented for himself a special style of writing about what he deals with.
