المستخلص: يعرض هذا البحث حضور شخصية الحيوان في عدد من نصوص القصة القصيرة السعودية، وما لهذا الحضور من تمايز وتفاوت تناولناها في دائرة وصف الشخصية فتعرفنا من خلالها على طرائق وصف الكتاب لشخصية الحيوان وذلك بعد استقصاء لطرق الوصف، والتي تختلف بطبيعتها من قصة لأخرى، وكون هذه الطرق في حقيقتها وصفا صريحا ومباشرا، أو وصفا ضمنيا غير مباشر، والتي هي وفق النظرية الوصفية تعد معلنات لوصف الشخصية، وقد اقتضت طبيعة الدراسة أن تقسم: مقدمة، تمهيدا، ثم فصلين تليهما خاتمة، أما المقدمة: فقد ألقيت فيها الضوء على أهمية الموضوع، وسر اختياره، ومشكلة البحث، والدراسات السابقة، والمنهج المتبع في الدراسة، وأما التمهيد: فجاء الحديث عن الوصف في النص القصصي باعتبار أن صفات الشخصية وسماتها وأحوالها يمكن أن ترد بكيفيات مختلفة مبينة طرقا للوصف، فكان الفصل الأول: بعنوان: "معلنات الوصف الصريح"، والفصل الثاني: بعنوان: "معلنات الوصف الضمني"، والذي اشتمل على: الوصف بواسطة الرؤية، والوصف المستفاد من أقوال الشخصية، أيضا الوصف المستفاد من أفعال الشخصية، ثم أودعت في الخاتمة أبرز النتائج، وأنهيت الدراسة بذكر مصادر البحث ومراجعه.

This research presents the presence of the animal's personality in a number of texts of the Saudi short story, and the differentiation and disparity of this presence that we dealt with in the circle of describing the character, through which we got acquainted with the methods of describing the writers of the animal personality, after a survey of the description methods, which differ in nature from the story to another to another And the fact that this way is in fact an explicit and direct description, or an indirect implicit description, which is according to the descriptive theory of advertisers to describe the personality, and the nature of the study required to divide: introduction, preliminary, then two chapters followed by a conclusion, but the introduction: The importance of the topic, the secret of its choice, the problem of research, the previous studies, and the approach followed in the study, and as for the introduction: the talk about the description in the narrative text came as the characteristics of the personality and its characteristics and conditions can be received in various ways indicating ways to describe, so the first chapter was: " The explicit description ", and the second chapter: entitled:" Advertisers of the Dispute Description ", which included: the description by vision, and the description learned from the personality sayings, also the description learned from the actions of the personality, then deposited in the conclusion the most prominent results, and the study was completed by mentioning the sources of the research and its references.
