المستخلص: النضر بن شميل أحد أعلام اللغة ورواتها البارزين، وهذا البحث يهدف إلى دراسة ما انفرد به من دلالات للألفاظ، من خلال رواياته في معجم تهذيب اللغة للأزهري، وتكمن أهمية هذا البحث في إماطة اللثام عن دلالات لفظية جديدة انفرد بها النضر ولم يسبق إليها. فهو من أقدم الرواة الذين ارتحلوا إلى البادية ودونوا اللغة من أفواه خلص الأعراب، وقد رغبت في هذه الدراسة؛ خدمة لتراثنا الأصيل والاهتمام به؛ لاستخراج مكنونه فهو مناخ طيب، ومجال خصب، إذ يحتاج المزيد من العناية والدراسة. وقد اقتضت طبيعة البحث أن يأتي في خمسة مباحث تسبقها مقدمة وتمهيد وتتلوها خاتمة وفهارس فنية على النحو الآتي: المقدمة: وبينت فيها موضوع البحث، وأهميته، وهدفه، وأسباب اختياري له، والدراسات السابقة عليه، وصعوباته، ومنهجه الذي سلكته، وخطته، والتمهيد: النضر بن شميل، والأزهري: أولا: النضر بن شميل، ثانيا: الأزهري، وأما المباحث الخمسة: فقد خصصتها للدراسة التحليلية، وهي موزعة على النحو الآتي: المبحث الأول: تعدد اللفظ والمعنى، وفيه ثلاثة مطالب: الأول: ما انفرد به من ألفاظ، والثاني: ما انفرد به من معنى، والثالث: ما انفرد به من معنيين، والمبحث الثاني: تعليل التسمية، والمبحث الثالث: الدلالة الصوتية، والمبحث الرابع: الدلالة الصرفية، والمبحث الخامس: الدلالة المعجمية، ثم الخاتمة وفيها أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها، ثم تلاها فهرس للمصادر والمراجع، وفهرس للموضوعات.

Al-Nadr bin Shumail is one of the most prominent figures in the language and its narrators. This research aims to study the connotations of words that were unique to him through his narrations in the Dictionary of Tahtheeb Al-Lughah by Al-Azhari. The importance of this research lies in revealing new verbal connotations that were unique to Al-Nadr and had not been previously used. He is one of the oldest narrators who traveled to the desert and wrote down the language from the mouths of the Bedouins. I wanted to study this; To serve and care for our authentic heritage; To extract its potential, it is a good climate and a fertile field, as it requires more care and study. The nature of the research required that it be presented in five sections, preceded by an introduction and preface, followed by a conclusion and technical indexes, as follows: Introduction: I explained in it the subject of the research, its importance, the reasons for choosing it, previous studies on it, its difficulties, the approach I took, and its plan, and the preface: The preface included: Two sections: The first section: A translation by Al-Nadr bin Shumail, and the second section: An overview of Al-Azhari and his dictionary, Tahdheeb al-Lughah. As for the five sections: I allocated them for analytical study, and they are distributed as follows: The first topic: the multiplicity of pronunciation and meaning, and it includes three topics: the first: synonymy, the second: verbal commonality, the third: antonymy, the second topic: the explanation of naming, the third topic: phonetic connotation, the fourth topic: morphological connotation, the fifth topic: lexical connotation, then the conclusion, which contains the most important things. The results I reached, then followed by an index of sources and references, and an index of topics.
