المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة وقف التمام عند علماء الوقف والمفسرين مع الموازنة بينهما من خلال الوقوف على بعض كتب الوقف والتفسير، وذكر نماذج تطبيقية توضح وجهة نظر كل منهما في مفهوم التمام. يكشف البحث عن العلاقة الوثيقة بين علم الوقف وعلم التفسير؛ ولذا لم يقتصر المفسرون على بيان المعنى القرآني للآية القرآنية فقط بل أردفوها بذكر موطن الوقف غالباً ومدى صلاحية الوقف من عدمه. كما يهدف البحث إلى التفرقة بين المصطلحات التي ظاهرها الترادف لمصطلح التمام، كمصطلحي: (التام، والأتم)، ومحاولة التوصل إلى ضوابط علمية مميزة لوقف التمام. وتوصل البحث إلى جملة نتائج منها: أن مفهوم وقف التمام مختلف عند علماء الوقف، فتارة يساوونه بالتام، وتارة يفرقون بينهما، بينما يتفق المفسرون على مفهوم وقف التمام، وأنه ما انقطع عما بعده لفظاً ومعنى، كما توصل البحث إلى وجود علاقة وثقى بين الوقف والتفسير. ومما يوصي به البحث: دراسة مفهوم الوقف الحسن عند علماء الوقف والمفسرين، وكذلك في بقية أنواع الوقوف الأخرى.

This research aims to study the concept of "waqf al-tamam" (the pause of completion) among scholars of waqf (pausing) and interpreters, by comparing both through examining some books on waqf and interpretation, and providing practical examples that illustrate each party's perspective on the concept of completion. The research reveals the close relationship between the science of waqf and the science of interpretation; thus, interpreters do not limit themselves to explaining the Quranic meaning of a verse but often include the appropriate place for the pause and the validity of the pause. The research also aims to differentiate between terms that appear synonymous with the term "tamam" (completion), such as the terms "al-tam" (complete) and "al-atam" (more complete), and to attempt to establish distinctive scientific criteria for waqf al-tamam. The research concludes with several findings, including that the concept of waqf al-tamam varies among scholars of waqf; at times, they equate it with "al-tam," while at other times, they differentiate between the two. In contrast, interpreters agree on the concept of waqf al-tamam, defining it as that which is disconnected from what follows, both in wording and meaning. The research also finds a strong relationship between waqf and interpretation. Among the recommendations of the research is the study of the concept of "waqf al-hasan" (good pause) among scholars of waqf and interpreters, as well as in other types of pauses.
