المستخلص: هذا البحث يدرس جانبا من الجوانب التطبيقية في علم العلل، وهو تعقبات العلماء بعضهم على بعض في تعليل الأحاديث ونقدها، وكان محور الدراسة تعقبات ابن القيم على الإمام البيهقي في تعليله لبعض ألفاظ الأحاديث من خلال كتابه "تهذيب سنن أبي داود"، وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى محاكمة صحة هذه التعقبات وموضوعيتها، وإظهار تصور عام عن منهجية المتعِّقب والمتعقَّب عليه في دراسة الأحاديث المعلة. وقد استعمل الباحث المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي النقدي، وتوصل إلى عدة نتائج لعل من أهمها: تقدم الإمامين البيهقي وابن القيم في نقد الأحاديث وتعليلها، وتمييز المقبول منها من المردود، والصواب من الخطأ في الأسانيد والمتون، وسعة اطلاعهما على الطرق والروايات، وكلام أئمة النقد المتقدمين، واتفاق الإمامين البيهقي وابن القيم في أصول هذا الفن (علم التعليل) وقواعده العامة في الجملة؛ كاعتبار القرائن في الترجيح بين أوجه الاختلاف والزيادات في المتون، وأن لكل حديث نظرا خاصا عند دراسته والحكم عليه، وما يقع بينهما من اختلاف وتعقب إنما هو في الغالب في التطبيق والفروع والجزئيات لا في المنهج والطريقة.

This research deals with studying one of the applied aspects of the science of hadith criticism, which is scholars criticizing each other in criticizing hadiths, and explaining the reason for the criticism. The focus of the study was Ibn al-Qayyim’s criticisms of Imam al-Bayhaqi in his criticism of some of the words of hadiths through his book “Tahdheeb Sunan Abi Dawud,” and it aims This study aims to test the validity of these criticisms and the credibility of the criticism, and to show a general picture of the methodology of the critic and the one being criticized in studying the hadiths that have been criticized. The researcher used the inductive, analytical, and critical approach, and reached several results, perhaps the most important of which are: the progress of Imams Al-Bayhaqi and Ibn Al-Qayyim in criticizing hadiths and explaining the reason for criticizing them, distinguishing what is acceptable from what is rejected, and what is correct from what is wrong in the chains of transmission and texts, and their extensive knowledge of methods and narrations, and the words of the imams of criticism. The applicants, and the agreement of the two Imams Al-Bayhaqi and Ibn Al-Qayyim regarding the origins of this art (the science of criticizing hadiths) and its general rules in general; Such as considering the evidence in weighing the differences and additions in the texts, and that each hadith has a special consideration when studying and judging it, and the differences and comments that occur between them are mostly in application, branches, and details, not in the approach and method.
