|a مثلت العلاقات والمصالح السياسية الباكستانية الصينية نموذج للعلاقات المتميزة، انفردت بها عن باقي دول أسيا ويأتي في مقدمتها التعاون النووي بين البلدين ولا سيما المدة ۱۹۸۳-۱۹۸۸، وهدفت الصين من وراء ذلك إقامة تحالف قوي تتمكن من خلاله قيادة الدول الافرو-أسيوية، أما بالنسبة لباكستان فكانت تهدف من ذلك التعاون برغم الاختلاف الأيديولوجي بينهما هو المحافظة على أوضاعها الأمنية ودرء مخاطر التهديدات الهندية. ومن هنا بدأ البرنامج النووي الباكستان بالتنفيذ وبمساعدة صينية وبلغ التعاون مراحل متقدمة في هذا المجال خلال النصف الثاني من العقد التاسع من القرن العشرين.

Hence, the Pakistani nuclear program began implementing with Chinese assistance, and the cooperation reached advanced stages in this file during the second half of the ninth decade of the year twentieth century.
