المستخلص: السيميائية هي علم يدرسُ الإشارات أو العلامات وعلائقها المتداخلة، ووظائفها الداخلية والخارجيّة التي تؤلف بنيتها الخاصة ضمن الحياة الاجتماعيّة، وقد شاع استخدامها بعدها علمًا للإشارات على يد سوسير، وبيرس اللذين عدا النص هو آلة لغوية ليس من السهل التحكم بها، وإنّما علينا أن نترك لأجزاء النص وما فيه من علامات متسعًا من الحوار، والجدل والتفاعل الداخلي الذي يتكشف عن وجود طرق مختلفة للإبلاغ والتوصيل والتّعبير، وهذا يتحقق إذا جُمع بين تحرير النّص وتحرير مخيلة القارئ، فهما اللذان يجعلان من النّص نصًا تعدديًّا قابلا لتوليد المعاني. فقد قام الباحث في دراسته هذه بدراسة (سيميائية المكان في المجموعة القصصية "العيون الغاربة" لعلي حجازي)، كون العنوان يُعد أحد أبواب الدّراسات النقدية التي عُني بها النقاد، وجعلوها الركيزة الأساسية في دراساتهم النّقديّة الحديثة وخاصة سيميائية العلم الذي يتناول العلامات الدلالية والتعبيرية داخل النّص القصصي. النتائج المهمّة التي توصل إليها الباحث هو: تمكن الكاتب في مجموعته من إعطاء البعد الجغرافي مساحة واسعة في نصوصه، إذ أبدع في وصف المكان الجغرافي وكان له صدى واسعًا في نصوصه. ومن خلال هذه المجموعة القصصية يظهر انعكاس المكان في حياة الكاتب علي حجازي، وإن ما نجده في المجموعة تروي شخصية الكاتب حبّه للأرض، فنجد فيه حوار بين الطبيعة، وبين الشاعر تناغم موسيقي يدلّ على تأثره في المكان الذي ينتمي إليه. تظهر حركة الشخصيات ضمن الانغلاق فهي تنحصر ضمن هذه الحدود والتي تكون حدود معينة، بما تسمح به هذه المساحة، كالبيت والعربة والقبو والمهاد وغيرها، حيث يستعين بالأماكن المغلقة في نصوصه، مبينًا أهميّة المكان ودوره في حياة الإنسان. استخدم الباحث في مقالته هذه من المنهج السيميائي الذي يقوم بدراسة اللغة بوصفها نسقًا من الإشارات والرموز، ويعتمد القراءة المفتوحة التي تضع النص أمام قراءات متعددة.

Semiotics is a science that studies signs or symbols and their interconnected relationships and internal and external functions that compose their special structure within social life. It was widely used as a science of signs by Saussure and Peirce, who considered the text to be a linguistic machine that is not easy to control. Rather, we must leave room for dialogue, debate and internal interaction for the parts of the text and the signs in it, which reveal the existence of different ways of reporting, communicating and expressing. This is achieved if the editing of the text is combined with the editing of the reader's imagination, as they are the two that make the text a pluralistic text capable of generating meanings. In this study, the researcher studied (the semiotics of place in the short story collection "The Setting Eyes" by Ali Hijazi), as the title is one of the chapters of critical studies that critics have been interested in and have made the main pillar in their modern critical studies, especially the semiotics of the science that deals with semantic and expressive signs within the short story text. The most important results reached by the researcher are: Ali Hijazi was able in his collection of short stories (Sunset Eyes) to give the geographical dimension a wide space in his texts, as he excelled in describing the geographical place and had a wide echo in his texts. Through this collection of short stories, the reflection of the place in the life of the writer Ali Hijazi appears, and what we find in his collection of short stories (Sunset Eyes) tells the character of the writer his love for the land, as we find in it a dialogue between nature and the poet, a musical harmony that indicates his influence in the place to which he belongs. The movement of the characters appears within the closure, as they are confined within these borders, which are specific borders, with what this space allows, such as the house, the cart, the cellar, the cradle, and others, as Ali Hijazi uses closed places in his collection of short stories (Sunset Eyes) in his texts, indicating the importance of the place and its role in human life. In this article, the researcher used the semiotic approach, which studies language as a system of signs and symbols, and relies on open reading that places the text in front of multiple readings.
