|a المرض النادر هو المرض الذي يصيب عدد قليل من الناس أي أقل من 1 من بين كل 2000 شخص، وتتعدد أنواع الأمراض النادرة حيث يوجد أكثر من 7000 نوع تقريبا، معظمها ناجم عن عوامل وراثية، ويعد هذا العدد في تزايد مع تطور التكنولوجيا واكتشاف أمراض جديدة. حيث أردنا من خلال مقالنا إظهار نوعية استراتيجيات مواجهة الضغط النفسي لدى أمهات الأطفال المصابين بمرض الفينيل كيتون يوريا وعلاقتها بالتشخيص والعلاج المبكرين في ظهور أعراض التوحد.
|b A rare disease is a condition that affects a small number of people, that is, less than 1 in every 2000 individuals. There are more than 7000 types of rare diseases most of which result from genetic factors. Owing to the advances in technology and the discovery of new diseases, the number of rare disease keeps increasing. This article focuses on phenylketonuria (PKU), which is one of the most challenging disorders due to its huge impact on the various aspects of child development. The effects of this disease are not limited to the child but also extend to the mother who, as a result of her child’s illness, faces new situations and responsibilities and tries to adapt to them. This article attempts to demonstrate psychological stress coping strategies used by mothers of children with phenylketonuria, as well as the relationship between these strategies and early diagnosis and treatment, and the manifestation of autism signs.
