المستخلص: هدف الدراسة المعنونة بــجماليات المكان في رواية "وسادة من عشب"، للكاتب الياباني ناتسومي سوسيكي رائد الرواية اليابانية، إلى الوقوف على جماليات المكان، ومستوياته في الراوية عنوان الدراسة من خلال الكشف عن العلامات السيميائية في العتبات الخارجية، ثم الحديث عن جمالية وصف المكان ووظائفه، ثم الحديث عن مستويات المكان ومدلولاته المختلفة مثل الأماكن المغلقة وطريق الرحلة والمكان النفسي؛ للخروج برؤية خاصة تعكس جماليات المكان، وطبيعته في رواية "وسادة من عشب". وقد استندت الدراسة على المنهج الإنشائي وفرضيات المنهجين النفسي والاجتماعي؛ للوقوف عند جماليات المكان، وربطها بأحداث وشخوص النص ودلالاته، واستعانت الدراسة كذلك بالمنهج السيميائي فيما يخص تحليل العتبات الخارجية للرواية. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج، منها: تنوع محاور المكان ما بين الأماكن المغلقة، وأماكن الرحلة، والمكان النفسي الذي كان حضوره طاغيا في الرواية، حيث عكست هذه الأماكن الجوانب النفسية، والاجتماعية، والفكرية إضافة لعكسها الصورة الحضارية والعمرانية للمكان.

The study entitled aesthetics of the place in the novel "pillow of grass", by the Japanese writer Natsumi Soseki, the pioneer of the Japanese novel, aims to identify the aesthetics of the place, and its levels in the narrator the title of the study by revealing the semiotic signs in the external thresholds, then talking about the aesthetics of the description of the place and its functions, then talking about the levels of the place and its various connotations such as indoor places, the flight route and the psychological place; to come up with a special vision reflecting the aesthetics of the place, and its nature in the novel "pillow of grass". The study was based on the constructivist method and the assumptions of the psychological and social methods; to stand at the aesthetics of the place, linking it with the events and characters of the text and its semantics, and the study also used the semiotic method in terms of analyzing the external thresholds of the novel. The study concluded several results, including: the diversity of the axes of the place between indoor places, places of flight, and the psychological place whose presence was overwhelming in the novel, as these places reflected the psychological, social, and intellectual aspects in addition to reflecting the civilized and urban image of the place.
