المستخلص: تناول الباحث دراسة لمعنى (قصر الصلاة) الوارد ذكره في القرآن الكريم، حيث بين موضع وروده في الآيات الكريمات، كما جمع أقوال المفسرين، وأهل اللغة، والفقهاء في معناها، والأحكام المأخوذة منها، مبينا حجة كل قول وأدلته، وجوابه عن مخالفيه، ثم ناقش الأقوال، مرجحا أن قصر الصلاة عام لنوعي القصر: قصر الكمية والعدد، وقصر الكيفية والصفة، فيشمل النقص في الأجزاء والأوصاف معا. وأنه يكون في حال الأمن أو الخوف. موردا في كل ذلك علة الترجيح، وأدلته، وفق قواعد الترجيح المعتبرة عند علماء التفسير وأصول الفقه، ومبرزا أثر القراءات القرآنية، ودلالة السياق في ذلك.

The researcher dealt with a study of the meaning of (shortening the prayer) mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, where he explained the place of its occurrence in the noble verses, as well as collected the sayings of the interpreters, the linguists, and the jurists about its meaning, and the rulings taken from it, indicating the argument for each saying and its evidence, and its answer to its opponents, and then dis-cussed Sayings, it is likely that shortening the prayer is general for the two types of shortening: shortening the quantity and number, and shortening the quality and adjective, which includes the deficiency in parts and descriptions together. And it is in a state of security or fear. A source in all of this is the reason for weighting, and its evidence, according to the rules of weighting considered by scholars of interpretation and the principles of jurisprudence, highlighting the impact of Quranic readings, and the significance of the context in that.
