المستخلص: منهج البحث: اعتمدت فيه على المنهج الاستقرائي الاستنباطي التحليلي النقدي. وقد عمدت إلى استنباط آراء الإمام الداني التفسيرية المبنية عليها ترجيحاته في أحكام الوقف والابتداء من خلال كتابه: «المكتفي في الوقف والابتدَا»، ومقارنتها بغيرها من أقوال العلماء، ثم الخلوص إلى الرأي الراجح، مع بيان علل ترجيحه إن وجدت، ولا أتطرق إلى ترجيحه في علم الوقف والابتداء، ورتبتها حسب ترتيبها في المصحف، واقتصرت من صيغ الترجيح على ما كان نصاً في الترجيح، أو بصيغة: أفعل التفضيل، وهي: الأغلب الأعم. ومن أهداف البحث: إبراز أثر علم التفسير على الوقف والابتداء، وتجلية جهود الإمام الداني في علم التفسير. ومن أبرز النتائج: تنوع آراء الداني التفسيرية التي بنى عليها ترجيحاته في الوقف والابتداء من خلال كتاب: «المكتفَى»، وإبداعه في طريقة العرض الموجزة المبينة للمعنى، المغنية عن الإطالة والتفرع. ومن توصيات البحث: أن آراء الداني وجهوده في التفسير مجال رحب لدراسات أخرى.

Research methodology: It relied on the inductive-deductive-analytical-critical approach. My intention was to extract the interpretive opinions of Imam Al-Dani on which his preferences regarding the rulings on stopping and starting were based, through his book «Al-Muktafa fi Al al-btidda» and comparing it with other sayings of scholars, then concluding with the most likely opinion, explaining the reasons for his preference, if any, and I do not address his preference in the science of stopping and starting, and I arranged them according to their order in the Qur’an, and I limited the formulas of preference to what was clearly stated in preference or to the most preferable form, which is the most general one. Among the objectives of the research: highlighting the impact of the science of interpretation on stopping and starting and highlighting the efforts of Imam Al-Dani in the science of interpretation. Among the most important results: the diversity of Al-Dani’s interpretive opinions on which he based his preferences regarding stopping and starting through the book Al-Muktafa and his creativity in the method of concise presentation that clarifies the meaning, eliminating the need for length and branching. One of the research recommendations is that Al-Dani’s views and efforts in interpretation are a wide field for other studies.
