Increased interest in the study of renewable energies in the search for alternatives to compensate traditional sources known as fossil fuels, which are non-renewable and prone to depletion. Renewable energy sources are also characterized as clean and non-polluting, giving them significant importance in achieving sustainable development. This study aims to highlight the role of promoting renewable energy in achieving sustainable development by presenting various concepts related to promotion, renewable energy and sustainable development. It also examines the role of promoting renewable energy in achieving sustainable development from economic, social, and environmental perspectives, as well as the indicators for measuring sustainable development. |
