|a يهدف البحث إلى معرفة الواقع الاجتماعي والتعليمي للجالية اليمنية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وبيان سبب انحصار ظاهرة هجرة اليمنيين في الماضي على الذكور، واتصافها بالمؤقتة؛ إذ كان الهدف منها جمع المال ثم العودة إلى الوطن، وكيف حالت المتغيرات الاقتصادية والسياسية في اليمن دون ذلك، فدفعت أغلب المهاجرين إلى استقدام أسرهم إلى المهجر بحثا عن حياة مستقرة، كما هدف البحث إلى معرفة كيف استطاع اليمنيون تطوير حياتهم باستمرار، مع المحافظة على تراثهم وهويتهم الاجتماعية والثقافية والدينية، وبيان المستوى التعليمي للجالية؛ ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وخلص إلى خاتمة تم فيها تدوين أهم النتائج والتوصيات والمقترحات.
|b The research aims to identify the social and educational reality of the Yemeni community in the United States of America, to explain the reason of the phenomenon of Yemeni migration in the past being limited to males, and its temporary nature, as the goal was to collect money and then return home, and how economic and political variables in Yemen prevented that, prompting most immigrants to bring their families to the diaspora in search of a stable life. Furthermore, the research also aims to find out how Yemenis were able to develop their lives continuously, while preserving their heritage and their social, cultural and religious identity, in addition to stating the educational level of the community. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and deduced a conclusion containing the most important results, recommendations and proposals.
