المستخلص: جاء هذا البحث بعنوان (ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم بين الحظر والإباحة، والموقف العملي للشيخ أحمد الطيب في ضوء ذلك)، وقد تناول في المبحث الأول مفهوم ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم، وتناول في المبحث الثاني بيان أنواع هذه الترجمات، وبيان الحكم الشرعي لكل ترجمة، وأما المبحث الثالث؛ فقد تناول ضوابط ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم وأهدافها وحكم الصلاة بها. وأما المبحث الرابع؛ فقد تناول الموقف العملي الشيخ الجامع الأزهر من ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم، والمتمثل في دور مركز الأزهر للترجمة الذي أمر بإنشائه شيخ الجامع الأزهر الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد الطيب، الذي به حد الخلاف في مسألة حكم ترجمة معاني القرآن، هذا من جهة، ومن جهة ثانية قام المركز على ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم لعدة لغات، وما زال مستمرا في ترجمات أخرى للغات مختلفة، لنشر الدين الإسلامي وشريعته ومنهجه المتمثل في القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية، إلى ربوع العالم بشكل صحيح بعيد عن شبهات المستشرقين وافتراءاتهم التي وضعوها في ترجماتهم لمعاني القرآن من قبل.

This research paper aims at identifying the attitudes of the Grand Imams of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif towards the issue of translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, in the past and at present; if they developed independent viewpoints concerning this issue. The paper highlights the attitude of Sheikh Muhammad Mustafa Al- Maraghi who approved the process of translation, and submitted a project to the Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar, then forwarded it to the Prime Minister to provide the necessary credit for this project. Imam/ Muhammad Al-Khidr Hussein permitted transferring the meanings of the Holy Qur’an to foreign languages considering it a kind of interpretation, not as a typical translation of the original text. Then comes the era of Imam al-Tayeb who expanded the process of translation in general and translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an in particular. However, such expansion is subject to strict disciplines within Al Azhar Center for Translation. The research paper contains an introduction, a preamble, three chapters and a conclusion. The introduction and the preamble display the reasons beyond translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, its provision, its divisions as well as the terms and conditions. The first chapter is dedicated to Sheikh Muhammad Mustafa Al-Maraghi and his attitude towards translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an into other languages whereas the second chapter highlights Sheikh Muhammad Al-Khidr Hussein and his attitude regarding translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an into other languages. As for the third chapter, it demonstrates Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb’s era and his viewpoint concerning translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an into other languages. Finally, the conclusion sums up the findings of the research paper and its recommendations.
