هدف البحث: يهدف البحث إلى معرفة واقع البحث الأنثروبولوجي في الدراسات العليا وإشكالية التدريب على تكنولوجيا المعلومات. أهمية البحث: يعاني واقع الدراسات العليا في مجال الدراسات الإنسانية من معوقات كثيرة لعل أبرزها المستوى العلمي ومخرجاته الضعيفة، حيث أصبح هذا الواقع يفتقر إلى الاهتمام الكافي من قبل الجامعة فضلا عن تردي مستلزمات الدراسة وعدم وجود تأهيل علمي يؤهل الطلبة من القيام بواجباتهم، كما أن مجال الدراسات الإنسانية ولاسيما الدراسات في مجال الأنثروبولوجيا تتطلب تواصلا مستمرا مع الميدان، وهذ يحتاج إلى تدريب متواصل للباحثين وهذا غي متوفر كون الدراسة في مرحلة الكورسات النظرية ولا تصل بالميدان أو التهيئة له. كما تظهر معوقات اجتماعية تتصل بظروف الطلبة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية وهذا يعد أحد المعوقات التي تجعل الطلبة لا يؤدون واجباتهم بشكل كافي. كما أن تنظيم عملية التنمية ذاتها تحتاج إلى بناء مجتمع معلوماتي قادرا على أن يعطي صورة مقننة لعملية التنفيذ بل يجب أن تكون التنمية المنشودة تخدم قضية الاقتصاد العراقي المتحول مع تهيئة العناصر المدربة عبر تكنولوجيا المعلومات لإعطاءهم دور أكبر في العملية التنموية بالشكل الذي يخدم المجتمعات المحلية صعودا إلى تحقيق دولة الرفاهية. منهج البحث: يعتمد البحث على المنهج التحليلي الذي يساعدنا في تفسير معوقات الدراسات العليا في إطارها الذاتي والموضوعي.
